Memorial Day

Post by Bushmaster » Mon May 31, 2010 7:10 pm

How is there not one of these already up?

I think we all know what day this is, and we need to remember all who have fallen in service to this great country. We should also thank those who served and are still with us.

We slow cooked 5 racks of ribs for 5 hours and bought 2 cases of Bud Light. If that isn't honoring our fallen then I don't know what is.
I taste how that would feel

I pretended to fight in their place. I thought of it as an honor...

Bush, you are very welcome. ;)
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

I think we tend to loose focus about the "Memorial" part of the holiday.  I was able to go to France and visit the Normandy Beaches and Normandy American Cemetery.  Pictures of the cemetery bring some clearer perspective to what the holiday is all about.  Take a look here http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/forums/http://www.southcarolinaairsoft.com/newforums/viewtopic.php?t=51.new#new

That is one place that I really regret not visiting when I lived in Germany.  I definitely want to get there soon.
