No, dude, you're missing my point. What I'm saying is that an airsoft DMR (take your M16 for instance) is 100% capable of being fired in full auto, though it is against the game rules. The semi-only rule for DMR's is very often disobeyed, though I'm not going to name any names. I agree, anyone who spends the money on an M82 is most likely going to upgrade its FPS well beyond 400, but that doesn't mean that they won't abuse the DMR fps rules.SpyderTC wrote: not sure if anyone knows but the Barrett "sniper" COULD act as a feckin assault rife (it only shoots 380-390) However, anyone dedicated enough to sniping to buy one will probably use it on semi only. Anyway.....
That's the difference between a airsoft "sniper rifle" in the traditional sense, and a DMR. No bolt action "sniper rifle" can be fired in full-auto... thus separating if from the DMR classification.
Hence, the Barret (if upgraded) would fall under the DMR rule-setGambler wrote: If someone sets up a Barrett's to fire over 400 fps, then obviously they would not be allowed to fire on FA.
