From a practical point of view, there's really nothing to stop you from carrying speedloaders and BBs with you and reloading at the spawn point. Since you're very likely to be at the spawn points multiple times during the day, you probably won't run out of ammo in the field unless you're really dumping ammo all over the place.
That's another question for Garrett specifically, but I would be inclined to say yes. Most guns considered DMRs have a mag capacity of at least 100 rounds, whereas most bolties are lucky to get 25 rounds. Again, though, this is up to Garrett so there is no need for lots of discussion here in the thread.
