Once I get through December (I work in retail shipping) I will have some time to look around for someone to carpool part of the way with. It looks like I'll probably be the only one coming from SC, and though I'll look into the airfare, partially carpooling with someone OTW from GA/NC/AL/TN is likely to be my best bet. I'll be on your forums in the near future to that end. Have you guys started taking the $50 deposits yet?

Yep, registration opened a while back just hit up

http://www.operationeastwind.com/NATO/r ... tion.shtml for NATO

or

http://www.operationeastwind.com/EB/registration.shtml

for Warsaw Pact.

If you are headed through Tn, you could probably hit up Childers he's Scorpion1 on the East Wind forums, he's coming from Nashville so you might have a partial carpool that way.

If anyone is actually going to go with me, go ahead and put down your deposit at least. Remember that the $250 is due by February 1st. Is anyone still considering going?

Sorry to report that both of the other potential attendees that I know over here are in college still during the event (finals week), and hence cannot attend this year. I was trying to scare up some carpoolers for you Dom, but no luck.

Oh well, thank you for trying. I am going to try and get ahold of that guy in AL and ride with him part of the way.

Hang Xiang, nice kid from Alabama who I sorta know, is attending EW this year, but I am not sure of his travel plans. If whatever you have going doesn't work out I can put him in contact with you.
