I saw that my position is listed as F.N.G. and was wondering what it meant. Since I do not have a cool call sign name, was wondering if Goober was acceptable of goofy (which doesn't matter to me because I like it)? Duh-Huh

FNG... F'ing New Guy.

Your call sign can be just about anything...it's yours.. but most of them seem to be nicknames that you got as a kid that stick with you, or something that your teammates come up with. Just don't be offenisive with it. Like no curse words or racial slurs.

That is simply a forum rank. The ranks are based purely on post count, and are as follows.

F.N.G. (0-49 posts)
I like this place! (50-99 posts)
Here for a while... (100-249 posts)
I love forums! (250-499 posts)
I do in fact have a life. (500+ posts)

You can also set a "custom title" and "special text". For example, mine are "Forum Ãœbermensch/Admin" and "Adminigod" respectively. These settings can be found in your profile settings on the toolbar at the top of the page.

The only nickname I had as a kid was the one my grandfather use to call me-"Charlie Brown". My dad use to call me "Hey You" or "what's his name", do these count?
