converting jg m4 to metal d-boys body

i have a jg m4 s-system i would like to convert and put the internals in a d-boys metal body but the outer barrel on the jg wont connect with the new metal body i think i might need a delta ring and a barrel nut and possibly a new outer barrel? if anyone can help me out please let me know asap! i can post pictures if needed

When you say "convert the internals" I assume you mean the gearbox, motor, and inner barrel/ hop-up.
Not the internals of the gearbox itself.

A standard m4 upper receiver , metal or plastic, will not accommodate a m4 S-System outer barrel and thus the RIS System. A m4 S-System upper receiver has what I would describe as a "contraption" piece that that is specifically made to accommodate its outer barrel.
The lower receiver is fine, it is just the upper receiver that you have to match up correctly.

Keep in mind that when you switch from a plastic (ABS) body and go to a metal body, you may need to buy a one piece hop-up unit. Like this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=4127
I think most metal bodies (lower receiver's) are designed for the one piece hop-up but not all of them.
