Re: SQA Skirmish - 4/6/13
I'm sure with some more experience it won't be such an issue. Adrenaline played a big part in it. I was trigger-happy and ready to shoot at anything. Frost can witness to that lol. I know body language is something to look for. Players will act differently when they're dead, so I just have to be min...

Re: SQA Skirmish - 4/6/13
We enjoyed every minute (except trudging up the hill after the last round) of our first event. Everyone was friendly and helpful with advice. I learned alot that day, some of it painful. I'd like to give a "newb's" perspective on some things and try not to offend anyone. One thing I noticed was seve...

Funny you say that, she's a yankee lol. That won't work, since she'll have our 9 yr old with her. Might have to send her back home to cook and clean.Star_folder wrote:She'll probably still get shot though, us native South Carolinians aren't the brightest bunch. Some people shoot at just about anything.

Re: Skirmish @ SQA - Saturday - April 6
Looks like I'll be able to make this event my first, along with my teenage sons and nephew. The wife isn't ready for public games yet. Is there an area to safely see any of the action?

Re: Wellfire SR2 magazine
The L96 is a great looking weapon system. In fact, I may go that route. Definitely would have to sell the SR-2 first or the wife would have my head on a pike. I think I solved the feeding issue for now. A little superglue and playing with the spring tip allows me to load and fire 10 rounds max consi...

Re: Wellfire SR2 magazine
Well that's depressing lol. I may keep it for backyard plinking with the kids. I have a couple decent AEGs already. The M58A shotgun that came with thepackage is pretty nice though. Thanks for the advise Dom.

Wellfire SR2 magazine
Today I received the wellfire aps sr2 sniper set I ordered last week. I love the rifle but the magazine seems very cheap and difficult to load. Anyone have experience with this gun and any swap out solutions? I did a forum search but no luck so far. Thanks

Re: New face in town
Sorry for the misplaced post. Didn't see the introduce yourself thread earlier. But thanks for the warm welcome! We're starting out with cheap Wal-Mart AEGs so we're not properly armed yet. Our stuff probably isn't up to snuff.

New face in town
Hi everyone, new guy here. My family and I are just getting started in airsoft. I wanted to know is it best to get our feet wet in official or unofficial games? We have starter guns and no real gear yet. Scavenging and gathering for now. Looking forward to meeting new folks.
