Re: op24 V aar

Soooooo what was all the yelling about at the game? Something about opening a car door on someone else's vehicle? Heard it sparked a pretty heated argument

Re: Mosfets

Very informative and well written. If anyone wants to build their own, Rusty has his design posted on the NC airsoft forums. I've been using his design to build my own basic MOSFETs for about a year, and haven't had one fail yet. He takes advantage of the back hook of the MOSFET, since it can suppos...

Re: g36 hop up/er hop questions.

You could mod the barrel and insert a little Allen screw to apply pressure to the hop up, rather than than having to deal with the wheel

Re: Feeding issues w/ a g36 variant.

Cut up some strips of cardboard and stick it between the GB shell and hop up. It'll act as a shim, and solve your feeding issues A Thanx! I'll def. will try that. Did that solve the issue w/ the mtc 3? just wondering how it was doing. And Token, I watch a vid from the previous owner using a 11.1v a...

Re: VFC m16a3 upgrades

So to clarify your statement, you suggest an R hopup bucking by itself? no hopup assembly? also what about the hopup nub? Are VFC gearsets/motors robust enough to support operating a more powerful spring/piston combo in their stock configuration? As to a good piston replacement what are some good s...

Re: VFC m16a3 upgrades

You don't need bore up unless your barrel length is over 600mm. As for upgrades, you'll just need a new spring, piston, and AOE corrected. You could also take out that "self shimming" crap on the spry gear, and re shim it. Go for a steel 6.03 or 6.05 inner barrel, and an R hop or ER hop

Re: Latest Acquisition

Have fun with that lapping kit! Have you tried it yet? I was about to buy the level 3 kit, but as soon as I got the money it went out of stock Yep, I've done it to a few of my barrels. It's extremely time consuming, and physically demanding simply due to the time required. Granted, I'm also doing t...
