Yes how would er hop do with a gun under 350 fps with .25 although using even heavier rounds?

Everything i have read on rhop said it was for heavier rounds and such. At a lower fps the contact time would be longer and i would think less stress on the gearbox so more consistency. I would think the results would be more consistent hop up can anyone confirm what would happen a sub 350 fps setup...
