While yes, American forces are predominantly tan, that also counts Multicam, DCU, Desert, among other much cheaper camo and gear patterns. Anyway, as for local games, it seems camo restriction is not as tight? As long as you play on the same side so that the team can be together, it's not so strict...

While I agree wholeheartedly, finding others willing to spend the money to simply meet the minimum requirements will be difficult. Well .. Roads are always bumpy until you smooth them over. I'm sure its not a easy matter but nothing is until you fully understand and adapt to it.
