Missing stuff from OP Mantis II (Fort Prince 01/22/2011

Post by Dominum » Sun Jan 23, 2011 8:02 pm

I am missing my Cold Steel training knife and SteevoLS is missing his HK416. Anyone see this stuff anywhere? I am emailing Putnam, but I thought one of you may know something.

Anyone else lose anything?
I seem to remember someone elses training knife go missing... we may have had a thief in our midst.

Robbie let me borrow his training knife and I put it on the tailgate of Sam's truck because I wasn't going to use it... Come back after a while and it's gone...

Was that after dark? My 416 was stolen between 9:00 (when I walked out to the parking lot with Diesel and Severed) and 9:30 (when I walked back out after the first zombie game ended).

No it was right before lunch. We realized it was gone during lunch break.

Let me say this a not as a  rep, but a player only. If the stuff was taken by accident, speak up. If you took it and were thinking bout stealing, return it now, and nothing be said. IF YOU STOLE the items and I see you on the field with any of it, I WILL DETAIN YOU by any and all means til the cops show up. At that time, Charges will be filed and followed through to the fullest extent of the law. Mistakes happen, ok, but WE WILL NOT tolerate a thief.

I am with Diesel. Most of us will recognize steevo's 416, so it's not going to do you much good to have it. You won't be able to play in sc without someone recognizing the gun.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Steevo, could you post a picture of the 416? I'm on all of the forums down here as well as in surrounding states. I'll watch the for sale threads and game pictures to see if it pops up.

Thanks, Jester. It looks like this, but the rail and body have been Krylon'd tan. It also has a foliage green Emdom Gunslinger sling, large PEQ box, ladder rail covers, and barrel extension with a Troy Claymore flashhider. The sling and mounts alone are worth nearly $75.

On another note. If anyone saw the person that got this stuff, they can PM a rep or mod. Your name will be kept confidential. I bet somebody saw this, and if they did, please step up.
Thank you

I'm with Ninja, was it misplaced or taken and the guilt ridden person turn it over?

It somehow ended up in the bottom of my brother's toolbox. We're not sure how this happened, because neither of us put it there when we packed up to go.

Personally I think somebody picked it up, goofed around for a bit, and then sit it there without thinking.
