Being that E1 is just rebranded JG and JG is a Mauri clone neither of those will work either. Classic Army on the other had will work nice with the G&G M14. That's what I used with mine when I had it.Chippy wrote: Good point.
I read that too, the TM mags don't work with CA and vice versa. You could always try the Jg and echo1 mags though.

I know, I was replying to the OP .Esteban wrote:Henry, I'm not talking about DMR-ready. I am thinking a G3 configured for assault would be fantastic.
Jason's came stock with an M110 already I'm pretty sure... and I thought you wanted a DMR? If you are getting one to run stock get the G&G and don't use a powerful battery, it is an excellent gun. However, if you want to overhaul it as a DMR get a CA.RedWolf wrote: Thanks for all the advice I found out that the G&G M14 only accepts G&G mags but is a lot easier to upgrade and a 110 or 120 spring would be a good upgrade Not that I wouldn't but I don't trust myself at messing around and making things work the way they should lol

Re: Expanding collection
Not to ask a really noobish question but what defines a DMR class of rifle I know it means Designated Marksman Rifle but how does that work in an airsoft situation? Preferably I am looking for a rifle that shoots decent power and can hit with average accuracy to about 120-130 feet

For the record, I've owned 3 TM G3 SG-1s sporadically throughout my airsoft career. They've all been hard hitting and very stable, despite the plastic externals.

Re: Expanding collection
Nope TM and CA G3 mags are compatible as i had a few TM midcaps and 1 CA highcap and they both worked in my G3 (CA body, TM hop up) but i do not know about JG and Echo 1 sChippy wrote: Good point.

Your welcome. :-) I like helping. Especially since I won't be on the field for the next year getting shot by any of these weapons.RedWolf wrote: thanks for both those links nice to know how DMR actually fit in the game
