Need radio help
I am currently in the market for a new radio but have no idea where to start. Up until now I have only dealt with GMRS/FMR radios and I am looking to upgrade to a more professional setup. If anyone has any suggestions or can give any advice as to what to look for it would be greatly appreciated. I want something that works well and that will last me awhile.
Re: Need radio help
If you aren't opposed to buying Chinese or Taiwanese radios, Puxing and Wouxun both make solid, reliable radios in the $50-100 range that have 5w transmitters and cover the ~400-470mhz UHF range. If this sounds like something you're interested in, I can give you more info.
There's no kill switch on awesome!
