None of the guns you mentioned are intimidating. You can't holster an MP5K with the mag in it.
I agree with the first part, though there are drop-leg holsters made for an MP7. A cool gun, but yeah.. none of them are intimidating and never would be no matter what you throw on it. Except maybe a bigger gun, then it would just be half silly, half scary.

Truthfully my beautiful ppk is a hell of a lot more intimidating than my 1911, just because of how realistic it looks!

Lol, my L85 is as large as an m4 yet has one of the longest effective ranges within the AOSC, ask how many people find it intimidating, or what about the rest of my bullpups, or Dom's p90s. Heck, my CYMA glock with the lipo scared people.

Point is, a gun is as intimidating as you make it.

There have been a lot of games since the last fatality. Roses are red, violets are blue, so is your car at 102

The PPK without a mag??? Really scary. I'm sure I'll get burned on that later though.

Using one of those male-female clips that you pinch to release, with one half on the gun and one on a MOLLE loop, you can efficiently carry any of the guns I listed above.
I do not always accidentally, but when I do, I accidentally the whole thing.

Jeremy314 wrote:As for the M1 Garands by maruzen, they are gas.. and cost $500+ from overseas stores. If there was some sort of AEG M1 that would be nice, but I don't know how you could get a mag system to work and keep it realistic looking.
Sadly the Marushin (not Maruzen) M1 Garand was a wall-hanger, not really a skirmishable weapon, even for WW2-only events. Read all about it over at WW2AA. The internal components were weakly made and tended to fail after about 200 rounds (everyone I know who got one had this problem, ymmv). You also tended to lose the ejecting "shells"/enbloc clip, the internal gas reservoir didn't hold much gas, etc. Avoid unless you want a cool non-functioning conversation piece (in which case buy one of the many broken ones). Marushin has ceased manufacture of them.

Nice M3 Greaser, thanks for the tip. I have a teammate who has been waiting on this to come out for years now.

ICS basically did the same conversion that has been done for years in the WW2 airsoft community on their production line......unlike ares ,trying to reinvent the wheel....
the only beef i have with the ICS M3 is the finish...which could be solved with a coat of dark grey primer....and yes,ICS has a aeg Garand in process to be released areound dec. 2011,jan. 2012......they are supposed to be doing an aeg M1 carbine later in 2012.....that's what i'm waiting on...

I may become a WWII airsofter if ICS releases these at a decent price.

They are out there. I've seen them in a video from The Fort in the UK on youtube, but I've never seen them anywhere else.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

Not to mention one never looks intimidating when he's carrying too many guns or too much gear to be effective.

The goal (in my humble opinion) would be to achieve maximum speed and and effectiveness with one gun and a few small bits of gear, rather that to "look cool" carrying a tankload of gear and dropping something every 5 feet/minutes.

Also, another opinion of mine is that the point of a sidearm is not to be intimidating. I mean, yes, I doubt I would use something that was laughed at when drawn, but I think that one of the points of using pistols as the primary sidearm is that they are easier to conceal, thus giving you a defense that can be easily overlooked.

You're not someone who can talk about being conservative with sidearms Stealth... You dual wield full auto Glocks.
