I googled it and what I could find out was basicallly that it was used in the 90s but i coulndt find any more than that

I read the article and I was confused was it used by Navyy Seals in Vietnam or not?

If you did read the article, I'm guessing you haven't taken many history classes yet. Very first line:

LBV...was introduced in 1988.

That's just a weeeee bit after what we think of as the Vietnam War was over (1975ish).

Yeah i havent really taken many history classes on modern us history and escpicially not on the conflicts the US has been on after the Cold War. So any help would be appreciated.

You've already established that the LBV88 was primarily used in the 90s, and that it will fit someone of your size. Problem solved, thread locked.
