So I figure I will get a new hop up, a tight bore, and that spring upgrade that wound put it right under 500fps. And that walk though would be great!

If you are looking into bolt actions, you should hit Crazy up. Now let me warn you also about the amount of cash you will spend on upgrades. Crazy is shooting a little over 600 fps, and has had to spend around 700 in upgrades.

Now you will see one other gun on the field that looks like this (Crazy's), but its at a decent price, comes with a scope and bipod, and it takes all l96 aftermarket parts.

I love the look but I'm only looking for a lower priced gun that i can upgrade; I'm just going to get the echo1 asr and put some upgrades into it. I'd love to get the mauser but for $200 I might as well as get the src xm8 that im saving up for.

WELL makes this same gun for about $50 less. This is the pre-upgraded version.

I have bought a WELL L96, which is internally the same as the mauser, an it shoots as well as a UTG, or even better.

There is a well l96 clone in the for sale thread for 120 bucks and it has a tightbore already with scope extra mags and a upgraded bipod....Its a well mb01....I've shot it before and it shoot very good..all you would need is a 15 or 20 dollar spring and some good ammo

Well it"s pretty simple....You throw away the crappy one that come with the rifle and buy the utg deluxe bipod and add small ris rails on it so you can mount a sling or other things that may be needed and i would consider that an upgrade over the stock crappy bipod that comes with it

Sure....i put a magpul stock on mine that has a couple of storage compartments and it has zero stock wobble now...Why do you want a folding stock?
