I wish you the best of luck, Dom!  It's been really good to always have a trunk full of ammo (feeding my own use of +8,000 rounds per full game day), but I have reached my limit doing this part time.

I have found that so many people want so many different things.  It might not seem like carrying 5 bag varieties of ammo and 3 types in boxes/bottles is a very large selection, but you have to multiply each type of ammo by 12 bags or 5 bottles.  Then add my considerable amount of crap I carry at every game, and you have a VERY full Ford Taurus.

I hope that you can keep up with the varying demand of player base in South Carolina.  It won't be easy, and I know that I did not do by them as well as I wanted to (I could never find a good source for King Arms, G&G or Madbull ammo in the quantities I wanted to buy).  Hopefully, since you actually have a real investment (and not the $500 I started with), you will be able to have what everybody needs.

Dom was not lying when he said that we have reached a very amicable agreement.  I will continue to rent guns and batteries, but I am glad to pass the torch on to somebody with real ambition.

You do realize you'll have to have a big GRAVE banner in the store whenever you open it, don't you? And you have to give 99% discounts to all GRAVE members, too.  :P

I cant wait to see what you're gonna have. I'm finally about to get the m16 i wanted after the new year, but I'm gonna need to find a battery for it.

Also, judging by an earlier post, I take it I wont be able to get my brother some eyepro and ammo from smithy this weekend. are you gonna have any of the steel mesh eyepro? and ammo-wise, 20s?

So this is going to be a home-run operation right now?

Kind of; the first batch of stock is here at the house, but at a certain point it will have to be moved to larger facilities. The website will be up before too long, and will look/function just like any other retailer.

For the time being, yes. As soon as the rest of the inventory comes in, I will be keeping most of it in a storage unit and will go there to pick up orders to fill, so I can ship them out the same day if they are ordered before a certain time.

After the thousands of dollars I have invested to start up this business, I sadly do not have enough money so that I can quit my current full time job and still pay my bills while I work for free until the store becomes profitable enough to pay me a penny. This normally takes two years for the average business, but with the low overhead I am running at I hope to be able to move to part time at my current job within a few months, and be able to pay myself enough to run SC Airsoft Supply full time within the next 12-18 months. Had I not recently spent 7K on my wife's car, I would be in a much better position to work for free :-[.

Idea: You could build custom drop-ins for people. You could have a spec and request page on your website for people to submit down payments and requests for certain builds for certain guns.

I know I'm gonna catch a bit of flak for this, but if you could manage to get a Systema Challenge Kit MAX M4 by mid May to early June,  I would prefer to buy it from you man.  Hopefully that should kick up some revenue.

That's not a bad idea to buy up some Systema Challenge kits and assemble them himself and sell them back. You'd pretty much just be buying the labor of him assembling the PTW.

I'd rather pump my hard earned money into a local retailer I believe in, in converse to send it back to Hong Kong.
