Actually, it could be argued that M4s are the best airsoft guns on the market, simply because of the aftermarket support. You can upgrade everything and anything about an M4, whether it be speed, fps, speed and fps, the experimental stuff is always on m4s, the special, super, crazy, upgrades are always for m4s first. M4s are one of the only guns on the market that you can build completely from scratch. Matter of fact, 100 people could build an M4 from scratch and each and every one could be different. Logically, they are the best airsoft replica to own.

That being said, I don't own one :p. I truly hate the things. Their commonplace is their downfall imo. Nothing like a unique rifle to scare your enemy.

OT: +1 for the G&G, that bolt is amazing.

Psychological warfare is a dangerous and underrated thing.

Steevo told me about that Felix.

This argument ceases to hold water if you do not care about external mods. Since I do not, it doesn't ;).

Throw on a nade launcher and maybe scope and that's the limit of external upgrading for me.

I've had a RS Type 56-1 for about 2 years and have never had a problem with it. It shoots far and shoots straight. I have no problems with G&G and own a couple, but for the AK I would go with the RS everytime. I think they are one of the most realistic AK's on the market. I have RS midcaps that are 150rd's and they feed down to the last bb everytime.

Actually, you can build ANY gun from scratch with the parts.... they may not look different though.

I don't know if you have made your decision yet, If not I would suggest a RS. I own the RS 56-2 and I love it. Very reliable, sturdy, runs forever on a 1100mah 9.6v, hard hitting - currently 365 with a .25 after being well broken in. The only drawback is the cost of the mags, but they are worth it.
