Just to clarify, the BitterEnd and BrassGuard/clone masks are very different. The BE mask (I own one) is made from stamped steel plate, whereas the BG/clone masks are made from woven wire mesh. The BrassGuard masks are much lighter; while they wouldn't stop as fast a BB as a BitterEnd mask would, they are much easier to adjust and feel lighter on your face.

For the price difference, I'd say buy the clone. Whether or not it lasts forever, it only has to slow down a BB to keep your teeth from breaking.

If these will go over prescription glasses, I want one. Steevo and I had a really cool idea for painting one, so maybe I'll have to try one when they come out.

I noticed this thread from a while back and just wanted to say I have had the ACM "fencing" full face mask for a couple months now and I really like it. You can easily use iron sights, even low ones, and you have an excellent field of vision. I much prefer this to wearing goggles+a lower face mask. I have found it very comfortable and have made it my primary eye protection. I would reccomend them to anyone who doesn't have to wear glasses underneath.
