Sorry Steevo.  Thread cleaned.  Should have taken it to PM's.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

since there is significant ramp up time....poll players to what loadouts they currently own(same for nc)
I agree. Every team in NC has both loadouts, no preference. We can do whatever. But please, we did not use Multicam last time for this reason, if you want Tan, how about that ban stay in effect? Only fair eh?

I'd rather see a plan to enforce the FPS limits and MED distances
as in who'll be bringing the chorno who'll be running it, etc

Might I suggest at least 3 chronos running to handle the number of players
Every player bring an empty mag,
Get a store donate a couple bags of  .20's.
Load mag with .20's, then have them chrono, tag accordingly, (no tag = no play).
Have preplaced markers in the chrono area for 10-20-50-100ft, so that it will be a reminder of what their MED is.
While there, do a check on their eye/face protection is correct for their age
safety first, fun second.

You might want to PM Robin about this since he is the one that will be running the game.  This is a Black Tower Productions game.  The AOSC has nothing to do with running the chrono or anything else.

I think we should adopt the NCAO rule of 400 with .25's instead of .20's....unless you guys want to *lady dog* abt it lol just a thought

In a word, NO. Airsoft has been around for years in SC with a .20 MEDs and FPS limits. There is no good reason to change.

I will probably be running one of the chrono's at this game and I will be checking for propper eye pro and FFP for those that must wear it. Noting bothers me more than hot guns and bad eye pro enforcement. safety has to come 1st.

actually i am gonna state that the nc meds/fps would make it an easier way to integrate for this ONE game. up t y'all....or really saluda honestly. insurance has final say anyways. but i do like the players that want to enforce the eyepro...thats importaint and physically showing meds is good also, seen that done. also food for thought, setting up a test fire area at saluda outside of the chrono zone. we didnt have that at ds4...2 would be perfect....
When you definitely need it killed overnight...

I like the test-fire zone idea Mike, they're really handy... :)

That would turn airsoft in SC into a rich man's sport, and cause a lot of safety issues. I've never been to an NC game, nor had a friend go to one, without seeing/being told of serious safety issues (lots of bleeding wounds, broken teeth, broken optics, etc.). Why do I say it would make it a rich mans sport? Because from a tech point of view it would mean the standard assault rifle setup would go from an M120 to an M130/140, which is the fine line between running well on stock internals (at least for awhile) and only running if you completely overhaul your internals. Bottom line: If we change to those standards it would be impossible to have a competitive gun unless you had a lot of money. Our current FPS limits are good as is IMO, and I am saying this as someone that knows the issue from the other side of the coin, from the tech side of things, and as someone who has been to a lot of games.

Excellent suggestions, you should PM Robin. If he hasn't already joined this site, he will be doing so very shortly.

The AOSC will be implementing new chrono regs soon per the Head Game Coordinators' discretion. I believe they will be providing .20s for chrono and colored tags for MEDs, as well as checking eyepro at registration.
@Garrett or Ben, am I correct?

My .02, 400 with a .2's is fine.  And it needs to be stressed that these are limits not a goals. I can't wait for people to realize that high FPS and ROF don't make you a better player...
