Does anyone, ANYONE at all, know of any zombie-themed airsoft events happening in the south east of the country within the next year? Just about everyone on IronFox is dying to go to one, so you can imagine how our hearts sunk when Op. Bitten Arrow was called off. I know a good couple of you guys can relate with us on that.

Battlecats might have one.  Chad said a lot of people have suggested that and they will probably do that since they always make arrangements last moment.

Yeah, I've heard of Op. Plague, The videos of it are pretty great. Wisconsin is a little bit of a trip though.

As for BattleCats; Whats that field even like? I've been trying to find the website for it, (if it exists) but not anything relevant comes up.

The website is actually down now, as for the field, its a pretty nice small indoor field with fake buildings such as the house, the bank, the office, and the store.  Games are normally 25 dollars with rentals or not.  FPS limit is 330 however Purple might let you slip through if its a little higher.  You can go to youtube and you'll find videos on the place.  I actually have my own video but you literally can't see s***.

I've heard some negative things about the field, but it looks pretty fun from what I'm seeing on youtube. Whole lot of youngsters running around but that doesn't bother me much. Semi-only kinda does though. The place looks great for a zombie game IMO.

Yeah but the game is on Friday so you don't have to worry about the youngsters being that Friday games are adult games 16+ with the exception of me being that Chad knows I'm mature enough to be playing responsibly with adults(many adults aren't even mature enough).  As for the zombie game no still knows what gonna happen at Battlecats, I called earlier today but Chad said "With Purple theres no telling what the h*** he's gonna do".  I'll call tomorrow when he comes in for work.

Hmm... How often are games hosted at Battlecats? I don't recall ever seeing any posted up in the upcoming game threads.

They are never posted.  There is a game every Saturday unless the place is rented from 2-6.  Sunday is a game no matter what 2-6.  Friday is every two Fridays they have an adult game meaning full auto 16+ no rules at all unless you call your hits.

Battlecats is basically a walk-on airsoft arena (think paintball without the poofy stuff). They've been around as long as I can remember, but they never actually host any large games, nor can they support them.

Well a zombie game wouldn't require that many people.  Do you think the field owner would be willing to allow an all night zombie game?

I think a pure zombie game would be the greatest thing ever. If ya had the right set up, so it was maybe kinda like nazi zombies or something it would be epic. get a group of people who's only goal was to survive until a certain set of conditions were fulfilled. like building a nuke or something.

Id say for a zomb game have a team of people 10-20 strong vs zombies 50-100 strong. Or at least the ratio the same.  Have the survivors try to reach the opposite side of the map with a certain time and retrieve certain items so they can escape. (EX: the team must find a motor, a boat, and a map to escape Zombie Island before the government throws some tasty napalms.)

that would be sweet. and better yet, if we could get an actual island and boat on a lake or something. we'd just have to deal with other liabilities that would come up in that game situation...

It would be too hard because what if someone dropped something in the lake?  How about assemble broken parts of a airplane?
