I would really love to buy a m8 aeg but the only ones that I can find are BE(both elephant). I know nothing about this company, aside from previously owning an aug by them...and from my experience I have concluded that they make cheap guns...mine caught on fire..
So if any one knows if the BE m8 is decent, please tell me. Or if you know where I can get a m8 by a different brand.
And yes, I plan on upgrading. I just want to know if it would even be worth it with the BE.

There is no such gun as an M8. For the most part, Both Elephant guns are utter crap.
Are you saying you want a short-barreled AUG Para?

He's talking about the XM8, Steevo... at one point a lot of people were calling it the M8 because it supposedly was replacing the M16/M4 weapon system, but alas it didn't...
You want this one, and not a BE.

Don't get any SRC XM8 that is not Gen 3, or you'll just being getting a BE quality gun for the price of a decent AEG. I personally want this myself, but I have yet to pring myself to buy it... >.<

Well, I took a look at it and this is definitely my next gun (after I get the echo1 asr). it'd be nice to turn it into a dmr but it would look amazingly awesome if I could get a bipod, drum mag, barrel extension, and custom paint it with desert tiger. <~~ that's my 2011 project.

Why are you getting a drum mag if you want to make it a DMR? and I wouldn't really try to change too much with it, as there are no rails or anything of that sort. To add rails, you'll have to drill and that's probably not good.
The only thing I'd change with it is the scope, and I'd go for this:

I meant that it would nice to make it a dmr but I'd rather turn it into a lsw.
D: no rails? That blows. Well I guess I'll just get the scope for it and paint most of it tiger stripe...

Yeah, it's mostly G36 compatible, but again no rails, so you'd have to get a barrel mounted bipod. And you can get barrel extensions that just screw to the end of the barrel, but other then that, I don't know much about it.

well, atleast it comes with a 120 spring...
I can't wait to get this, even if it doesn't have many attachments.

BE are crap because they are LPEGs, i.e. plastic GB etc.

....I would go with something different if possible...I understand your going for a different look than most other aeg's but dom makes a good point.. The BE guns will not last very long in my opinon...Im not sure about their internals because i have never worked on them before ...I would at least go with a jg and up if you could find something you like

He's going with the SRC, much better when compared to the BE, and the Gen 3 SRC guns are made of better polymer on both the XM8s and G36 series of guns.
