so I gotta a birthday and christmas coming up and im planning to get a new gun. Problem is I've got many good options. Just wondering what you guys know/think abt the following: VFC SCAR H; ARES SCAR H; ARES TAVOR 21 (T.A.R.21); Real Sword Type 56-2. Let me know what you guys would do if you were me.

i would go for the tavor MINUS the crappy MARS site...there is a new version without the site with a flat top and side ris mounts.
i talked to someone who ownes one...he said the site was worthless..
TAVOR all the way...
if i needed another gun the TAVOR would be in the top 3

What guns do you currently have?

ARES TAVOR 21 (T.A.R.21) - Paying $500 for a gun shooting 300 fps, while only getting one midcap and no battery or charger.  Be ready to fork out a lot more money.

VFC SCAR H and ARES SCAR H - I wouldn't get the "H" because the "L" is compatible with M4 mags, which I happen to have a lot of.  The "H" requires it's own type of mags.  The SCARs are about $80 cheaper, shoot around 350fps, but again no battery. 

Real Sword Type 56-2 - I'm not familiar with Real Sword quality, but at least it is over $100 cheaper and shoots around 400fps, leaving you money to get mags, etc.


If the quality is good, I would go with the Real Sword.

I would definitely get the TAVOR.

3rd0ptik has a few Real Sword guns and they are great. Not one problem with the RS yet.

if u dont mind a DE colored gun.
the shipping isnt bad and its cheaper because it doesnt have a MARS site.
i think they make one in black but it is sold out.
as for 300 fps....fps isnt everything...and you can "easily" up grade or down grade this guns spring.
it has a swapout system similar to ICS. 300 fps will let u cqb with it if u choose to do so.
also i would reccomend handling a bullpup styles rifle...just so u can get a feel for it.
would suk to spend that much $$$ and u hate the gun, there fore selling it for a loss. SCARS are easy to find. tavors are much more rare. i may get my hand on one this month and i will let u know.

I personally think you can't go wrong with Real Sword...and you should get the Type 97B...its a bucket full of awesomesauce!
