Post edit due to hurt feelings on thread. For the record I do not have an issue with someone trying to rent a gun. The way this thread was handled is what I have an issue with. There are guides and tips for getting started on this forum. Please curse at me and threaten to physically assault me all you want. I'm not scared and never will be.

my gun needs to be worked on. I don't have the cash to buy a gun. So, I have to rent one.

Dude do you know how to read? Why do you want to rent a gun so bad? You could very easily purchase a used one from someone on this very forum and not have to worry about paying them for breaking it. Cool your jets, mang. I'm pretty sure there is nothing in the rules that says he can't ask to rent a gun.

That having been said, it could have been executed with a little more polish. Branman, I'd suggest you post something in the 24-3 thread asking if you can rent a gun from someone, but I wouldn't hang your hopes on it.

If you don't like somebody's comment, just ignore it, or PM the mods about it. They will be more than happy to help out with your situation.

* Do keep in mind, though, direct cussing is against the rule.

Anyway, I'd like to warn you ahead of time; if you're trying to borrow a gun from somebody for 24 hours, it is more than likely that the person who's lending you a gun will charge you more than $10.

This got out of hand fast. Like the rest have said most people will not rent a gun out unless they have some cheap junker in the house. For 10 dollars too that is not worth it really. I know it may be all you have but look at it from the other side. If you rent a gun for 10 dollars and something breaks they are paying for the part and labor (unless they can fix it)
