SP90 Spring

It seems that there are wildly different fps reports for the Guarder SP90 spring all over the internet, does anyone have any true experience with this spring shooting at the 295-300 fps as is advertised? If not, I would have to buy an even lower spring SP85 to meet cqb standards here.

The limit in SC is 300 w/.25g, i.e. an M100. An SP90 will do just fine.

Nagle64 is from VA, where the closest airsoft place is a cqb with 300fps with .2g.
I have no personal experience with the sp90, but the difference between the sp90 and sp85 fps wise won't make much of a difference. I would be safe and get the sp85.

When someone posts on the Airsoft Organization of South Carolina's boards saying "to meet cqb standards here" I generally assume they mean South Carolina
.

Haha yeah sorry about that. I'm in SC most of the time because I go to Clemson University. Plus, this forum is a lot more active than any virginia forum I could find.

If you still want a Guarder SP85, I have one I could sell for cheap. Send me a PM. I only used it in one game because it brought my FPS lower than I was wanting.
