So... seeing as the shoutbox was invaded by trolls, its getting annoying seeing nonsense posted under there instead of seeing an intelligent conversation. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one annoyed about this, but this is ridiculous. Who can be so immature to come here and do that? I'm just in awe at it.

^this. As much as I love shoutbox, someone has become drunk with the power of anonymity. They have ruined the chat room, and I'm ready for something with a bit more security or nothing at all.

And for that matter, it seems it's spreading from the shoutbox.....

I don't see it spreading, it looks as though its just staying down there. I think security would be nice, but getting rid of it is also a good option.

Shout box isn't the problem. The problem is the immature people utilizing it.

That's not always true. Someone is bound to walk into it.

Yea, the shoutbox was cool at first and now it's garbage with all of the trolls down there :/

That's a nice observation by the way Vesper. Unless you have a solution for these immature people, then there is really no other way to solve the problem, other than getting rid of the shoutbox or finding something more secure.

Is there a way to hide the shoutbox like the old system had?

It's been a while since I was last here and Stephen has changed it a bit.

See when a joke is carried too far, it no longer becomes funny but annoying.

I love just the small random anon jokes back and forth. For example, i log on yesterday to find that there was a small little whos better than who posting with major characters off of movies and videogames that we all love. Now that made me laugh. However people take it way to far and use that anon power to screw it all over like a male reproductive organ.
