you need to tell more about yourself evin like how old are you and what do you like doing: attacking, dmr, sniper etc. there are local teams you can check out but you should tell more about what you are looking for and what you want in a team

I suggest you go to the games and roll with some teams and make a lot of friends. You can find out how that team plays and if it fits your style of play. What you could do is gather some friends from your school or where you live and create a team and get them airsoft crazed.
Either way good luck finding a team

Hope to you on the field someday.

I agree with Asian. I've been on 5 or 6 different teams since I started playing airsoft and just finally found a team that I am really happy with. Take your time and get to know folks and you will find the guys you want to run with.

I'd also like to add that I've been playing for years now and haven't been a member of any team. You don't need to be on a team to play airsoft; just come to games and have fun! Get a group of friends you enjoy playing with and make your own team with them, or play with others who are already on a team and see if you fit in.

Woodland BDU's would go on the Alpha faction.
Is the MP5 a metal or a plastic gearbox? If it is a plastic gearbox, I would not waste your money attending a game.

Hey. Its all about how far you're willing to drive haha. I've been looking for recruits, but no one lives around Greenville/Greer/Spartanburg. We meet all of your requirements except for being around Irmo/Columbia. We pull all of our tactics straight from US Army manuals, especially the Ranger Handbook (2011 edition) and the US Army Warrior Ethos and Combat Skills Handbook.
Check the FPS on your rifles. <300 isn't really worth much more than a CQC weapon, like in urban terrain or as a backkup. I learned that the hard way. My first rifle was a Boyi M4A1 that fired 280, and I got about five kills out of it. Then I upgraded to a SCAR with 400+ FPS, and I'm actually hitting people.

^ This... Because all effective combat skills come from reading a book.
