I am far from an expert, but when they get that old "bitty" applies more than "chick". Both are rather disrespectful though.

I guess this all amounts to the L85 being a grandma gun.

The L85 is an effective weapon for what it is meant to do and just because the Queen of England shoots it means absolutely nothing. At least she is involved in what her armed forces are doing and the equipment they use...

I also read on the British Army's website that it is an EXTREMELY accurate rifle.
