Fire Lake - Paintball/airsoft field in Anderson

Post by Jay W. » Mon Jul 09, 2012 11:58 pm

Hey fellows,
Just wondering if anyone was familiar with Fire Lake here in Anderson. I spoke to the owner a few weeks ago, he told me they built an airsoft field, advertised it for about a month, but gave up on it because he couldn't get anybody on it.

I haven't seen the field first hand, I don't know what condition it is it. But he would charge I think $10 to use it. If the field is usable, would anyone maybe want to meet up for a pick up game one afternoon? I think if more people in the Anderson area knew this was available it would be pretty popular. It would be a nice alternative to Battlecat's indoor arena.

thanks for your input,
-Jay

If he advertised he then he did zero research on the internet because it never showed up here. Do you know how big it is in terms of acreage?

Is this the place we used to play at with the SCAA, had a bridge to fight over and such?
I made it there once several years ago.

SteevoLs,
He didn't give me any stats on the field itself. Their website hasn't be updated in who knows how long, so I don't think the guy is very tech-savvy when it comes to that kind of stuff.

I would be glad to go over there one afternoon and look at it, take some pics, if there is enough interest in it?

Looks like a decent field, lots of cover and fire lanes.
