same as above, but I'll still throw in my $.02

Lasers in airsoft are rather pointless (except for the wow factor). They one thing they do best is let your enemy know you're aiming at them (or enemy's friends, same difference). So, my advice if you're looking for a laser sight is to go practice some and learn where your shots will go, since its hard to make an airsoft gun repeatably hit a laser dot anyways.

if you're looking for a battery box for the front of your gun, I'd go to airsoft gi and read the reviews of the ones there, then find the cheapest version (possibly elsewhere) of the one you like. in my experience, battery boxes are meh, but with a little work they can be pretty reliable.

While much of what Edrahil said is true, I have to disagree with them being completely pointless. All though they are by far not the most useful item to get. Swamp Fox utilizes lasers when working with other teams or random players to identify target locations, trees, or objects, its more to get everyone on the same sheet of music, because a red dot is easier to see than be told about a tree that looks completely like every other tree. In addition, while I personally prefer point shooting when in a CQB environment, a decent laser that is dialed in can assist in hitting targets, but I honestly suggest just getting used to your gun as Edradhil messaged.

Edit: Realized it was a huge run on sentence-paragraph-thing and it drove me nuts.

Well.... Just get a battery box and act like the laser function is broken, it'll save you money that way and you'll get what you mostly want lol.

I have an mp5 so i dont want to have to buy a top rail and an optic. And im not a fan of foregrips i have had 2 before and sold them both.

Why did you just pull the COD card??? And using a foregrip IMO is more awkward than just holding the weapon normally thats why I dont like them. And IMO optics aernt worth it because an airsoft gun is not a real weapon so the optics cant really be dialed in properly and are about as accurate to where you will hit as a laser will be.
