is it even possible to achieve the "SD" look on an m4 like this.....butttttt with a MOE handguard?

If you mean the suppressor running inside the handguard, probably not. But, if you get the right outer-barrel, you can have the hanguards with an RIS gasblock for a flip-up sight and a suppressor right after it. Magpul MOE handguards need a handguard ring at the front to hold them together, unlike a 1-piece RIS that's on the gun in your picture.

You could make it so the barrel threads start right as the hand guard ends. That way your mock suppressor could hold the hand guard ring on instead of a gas block. That's about as close as you could get.
