question on outer barrel

So I have an Echo 1 Stag Arms Licensed AR15 style airsoft gun, it has an outer barrel that looks to be about 14.5 inches or so, I know the inner is somewhere around 350mm. It has 6in RIS.
Here is the barrel I'm considering getting...
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7924
Thing is it doesn't have a delta ring (no prob) or the other end that the RIS fits into (problem)
I don't know how this works. I want to replace it so I have a threaded flash hider (tired of playing with that big ugly orange one) but I'm a little confused on if I can get this and it be compatible with my setup and RIS system.
Can anyone help me out?

You can get it off, I promise. Check for screws on the flash hider.

There should be a little tiny hex screw at the base of the flashider (usually on the under side of the barrel) take it out if it isn't already. Then soak the WHOLE flashider and even a little of the barrel in boiling water for around 10 mins. Then get pliars and quickly twist it off before it cools. If it doesn't work stick it back in for about 5 mins and repeat the steps. This is what I do for all of my orange flashiders.

No problem. These things are always pesky just be patient with it. They eventually always come off.

To answer your other question about the "other end" of the barrel assembly, you need to have a roll pin punch set, a (preferably) rubber headed hammer (I use
this one) and tap out the small roll pins on the bottom of the front sight post, take it off and put it on the new barrel.
A vid that can help you out a bit:

You don't have to worry about removing the one that holds the mock gas tube on, unless you just don't want it there anymore, but the front post will take some elbow grease to get off so just be patient with it.

okay cool, I'll keep that video in mind.
So on a curiosity note how would I make the front end of my gun look more like this one?

With the way my gun is now I'm thinking it's probably not possible without some serious front end conversion.

You would have to get a longer outer barrel with no triangle sight and a different rail system.

Yep, exactly what Magpul said. You'd have to get a free float rail system like one of these:
JG SR type rail system
Daniel Defense Lite rail
Daniel Defense MK18 rail
And you might want to look into getting a mock gas block too.

Okay, okay.
So if I got this gas block here...
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6674
With this rail system here...
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=3537
Would I still need to get a new outer barrel if my current set up looks like this one...
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... s_id=10155
(That's pretty much the exact gun I have except it didn't come with the crane stock)
I can't just use a punch to punch out the triangle sights pins and remove it and keep my current outer barrel?
BTW thanks so much for all this info, you guys are a wealth of amazing knowledge!
