Best gun and worst gun you have owned

Post by marpat96 » Fri Jan 25, 2013 12:20 pm

Title says it all.

Mine favorite is my CM046 Cyma, blowback disabled, metal hop up added as well. The gun proved its worth at Fulda 2012 and SGC.

Worst gun was my SRC Plastic M4. Wobbly POS, awful range, (ask Token when we shot it at SOCO), body was awful. Hop up didn't exist? Gun stunk. I used this thing at SOCO, it was Tan.

If is being defined as reliability, then it would be any of my VFC M4s. Save for a stripped piston after 60k rounds on a lipo, I have never had a single mechanical failure on any of the three VFCs I have owned.

Worst would be the couple of KWAs that I have owned. Breaking receiver tabs, cracks in the receivers, stripped pistons, stripped gears, leaks around the hopup area, burned up motors, blah blah blah. I have bad luck with KWAs for some reason.

Dang. Everybody ripping on KWAs lately.

Best: My KWA M4. Love it. But i haven't even played with my new TM M733 yet and i already LOVE that. So it may soon surpass my KWA. Then again, I've owned all of four different guns.

Worst: E1 G36. Didn't like it and hop up was crap.

Best gun i've ever had has to be a toss up from the only 2 I have left. My Maruzen L96 has been incredibly accurate, powerful, reliable sniper rifle. The other one is my Polarstar M4. They are just incredibly different and its hard to pick which is better.

My worst had to be a KWA M4 that I had multiple problems with, mostly with the electrical aspect. It was just problem after problem.

I kinda agree with Taylor, it's hard to pick the best and worse guns I've owned. The L85 probably, but I'm always working on it, always trying something new, so it isn't ALWAYS perfect. But the Veteran M14 I had was excellent, as is the 417 I have now.

But the worst gun I've ever owned would have to be my first, a semi/full spring pistol that I picked up from walmart for $30. .12s shot 20ft. I was a boss.

My favorite gun has to be my Echo 1 HK 416. I bought it used, and it still works great (except that the upper reciever cracked in half. It still shoots, though.) I've used it in many games and it's been extremely reliable.

The worst gun I've owned has to be the Classic Army M15-A4 Sportline (not including Wal-mart guns). That thing worked for maybe a week and then never again.

Best gun by far was my G&G CM M4, I loved that little baby until it was time to move on to bigger and better things.

Worst would be my WE 1911 MEU, I was so excited to have a gbb, and then it died on me.

Considering the only thing I have that is stock from any of my gun purchases is the GB shell and parts of bodies of guns, that's how I'll rate them.

Anything Tokyo Marui or old Classic Army just have nice gearboxes. Don't know how to explain that. But they just do. They have a general feeling of high quality I guess.

My VFC SSR is the best gun body I've owned.

I owned a KSC(?) G18c way back in the day of backyard matches. I don't think I ever registered a hit with that thing. It was just scary enough to keep people away so I could shoot them with my bolt action.

Best gun is my ARES l85 afv. Had a few problems at first, but I love it! It even came with pre-cocking, along with a spring release feature. Only gun I know of that has this besides the TM Psg1.

Worst is my old VFC m4. I got it because of all of the great things people say about VFC, but it broke after only 2,000-3,000 rounds! Stripped piston obviously. The gun is lighter than a real m4, and I just don't like that... I prefer the externals from my g&g (not the stock though), G&P, and KWA m4s. Also i seemed to loose the "never lost" pins, body pin won't stay in, and the selector switch broke.

Best gun? TM P90, not sure which one of them though.

Worst gun I've ever owned? UHC Super 9 Pro.
