Most shoot faster

Both will be expensive for good range.
Think of it to be >450$
Springs you will have to pull the bolt back, which on anything more than an M150 may be hard
Gas's you have to maintain them a lot and buy all the gas, (or HPA da mofo)

HPA is the only option for a gas sniper rifle. All other kinds of internal gas systems are not nearly consistent enough to provide the accuracy needed for a sniper rifle.

Spring Rifle will be better in the long run for you, when its freezing, those gas guns will derp out. HPA rig isn't all THAT hard to do, Kevin from Redemption used his KJW KC-02 with HPA rig and it worked great. Spring though to me will be your best bet, just remember you'll need a lot of mods, cash, and time to get that thing running. Spring rifles take alot a power and exhale even more force.

I would have to vote gas, with an HPA setup. As soon as I can get back to making money I plan to build such a rifle myself.

Here's a guide that I think does a good job explaining it, if that's the one I think it is....
