They got pissy because Reddit found them in the sold logs of Chesterfield VA (More specifically the line reads: "Airsoft GI, Inc. leased 9,125 square feet at 100 N. Providence Road in Chesterfield County."

Tying to get away from all the BS in California with gun laws. Either way, cheaper and quicker shipping from a good retailer = win.

you assume they are going to ship from this location. They have all their warehousing in CA, which is where all their imports come in too. Its unlikely they are going to ship stuff to the new location to ship it again.

Correct. It is likely just going to be an outlet store, and not have it's own warehouse. Ordering stuff online will still come from the CA warehouse. It's not very likely they'll make the VA store a warehouse as well as the CA one. Most likely, they'll have enough stock to keep the shelves looking full and that's about it.

VA is kind of an odd place. I wonder if they were going for a central east coast location or if theres a huge airsoft community in the area.

NC already has so many shops, and VA is closer to better playing fields in Penn, WV, Ohio as well as NC.

Why not SC or FL

SC has no immediate sales or pull anywhere in the world of airsoft. Check it compared to Tenn, Penn, Ohio, NC.

FL has no surrounding states to pull revenue from, like mentioned before.

Disclaimer - I work at UPS.

The VA store will be a warehouse, as well as walk-in. Chesterfield county is where im from most recently. that is 1 hr from the chesapeake bay wihich has a HUGE import trade, so yes they will be receiving and shipping from there too. bottom line is they got sick of people crying about shipping cost and times since most ebay/amazon airsoft sales have free shipping even on single item sales (fingers crossed they follow suit.) They are locating in Chesterfield because it is 10mins from the second largest UPS hub on the east coast. South they would have to comete with airsoft atlanta, and there are lots of small stores in new england. VA is perfect.

plus the commonwealth's llaws concerning airsoft are pretty chill. tax breaks, etc as well.

there is a huge airsoft scene in VA (hell thats where tvb3 is...) and VA has many interstates connecting with MONEY in DC, MD, and those other states surrounding.

not a warehouse. mayyyyybe import and ship location for east coast, probably not.

store and possibly CQB.

spoke with HR manager and they are looking for retail sales, technicians and store mgrs.
