M16/M4 Hop ups have been annoying since the birth of airsoft, the little nob just isn't friendly to fine tuning, MadBull looks like they have an answer.
This looks like it takes from the ICS style hop up and makes it better,
I'd like to hear if anybody else has used this product

That is interesting. It actually looks very similar to the hop-up chamber used in SCAR light's, which I found much easier to adjust than the AR style.

Dial chambers are always superior to linear levers or M16 style side gear styles. This looks like an improvement, nice work Madbull.

I haven't had one but all I can find is positive reviews. the dial as mentioned is like th one used on SCAR-l's and the G&G/CA M14, very easy to adjust in minute increments. Also this hop unit has the ability to be used as a tracer illuminator eliminating the need for tracer mags or a tracer supressor.
with the wheel, illuminator and o-ring chamber lock, it has 3 great improvments in 1 unit, not a must have but def a will have as my hop-up units need replacing.

If I owned any ARs I planned on fielding I would definitely buy it.

I would get it if the KWA design were a 1-piece. We're getting one for my teammate's VFC M4.

^ Let me know how works out, Scott.
This really looks a lot like a Thompson hopup chamber shoehorned into an M4 style chamber.

Got word back from Airsoft GI about the product,
It will fit TM compatible M4/M16 based weapons
they also say that it will not fit a SIG 556 or a L85's (asked since they where stanmag users)

I have one and really like it but the bb retention system does not work. We may installed the wrong o ring in that spot but who knows?

I still have not used this weapon outside yet to see how it works. One thing I did just do is test my KA midcaps with it and they fed flawlessly. That was a feat my other hop up unit could not do.

I bought one and I'm trying it in my CA SR25. Theoretically it should work since I believe the hopup unit is a V2 hopup in there. Put the two side by side and they look the same as far as where the feeds are and it fit in the box fine. Deciding to install new parts at 2am because you're bored equals no test firing.
