Airsoft in the Midwest

There is a chance I may have to move to Kansas City for a few months. I saw where some sites were listed for airsoft clubs and such in the area, but they are not very informative, and have almost nothing pertaining to local games and events. If anyone could help me find out where I could play airsoft over there that would be a great relief, since there is nothing else to do out in the Midwest, other than storm chasing.

Happens that I can help with this as I am from Kansas City.
KCAA (Kansas City Airsoft Association.) Now defunct. Used to run monthly Milsim games that drew players from as far away as Chicago on a regular basis but the guys doing all the leg work to run events ended up with too much on their plates and when the reins got handed over to the next generation of leaders they pretty much stopped running events and the place died out.
Center mass airsoft:
http://centermassairsoft.com/ mostly a team but do run events at a field in Independence.
Dans Toy Shop:
http://www.danstoyshop.com/forum/ runs games at a disused junk yard in Lone Jack. While his games are basic (not milsim) the quality of play and players is good and therefore it’s well worth the trip.
MAKO
http://makoevents.com/ again mostly a team but also runs events at an abandoned NIKE missile base up by Lawson.
There are a number of other groups in the immediate area worth visiting, Omaha is just up the road and they have a very healthy community up there that runs good games. Springfield Missouri has a CQB place as apparently does Wichita Kansas. SLAP in St Louis is also a good place to hit since their main field is on the west side of town there anyhow and is an easy drive.
Lastly, you are not far from D-Day adventure park which hosts a number of decent games per year from (in order of size) American Milsim

www.operationeastwind.com and Milsim Event

I've been to D-Day Adventure Park once (Oklahoma Invasion VI) and it's a very impressive field, definitely worth going to some big events there if you are within several hours drive. I'll be there again in March at EW VII and I am trying to convince my brother-in-law to come (He's in TX).
