nc vs sc game

Post by IronChef » Sat Jan 30, 2010 6:00 pm

ok first of all......scaa or aosc, i would like a show of hands who bothered to show up to the first game???
this isnt about scaa or aosc....this about your pride in your state. the ability to unite and actually show up and play. this about advancing the sport of airsoft. i dont think there is a state vs state game anywhere. the whole airsoft community of sc dropped the ball for the first one. Birng your a-game to this one. Dont sit it out because you dont like certain members...or the venue. What it does is give 2 years to plan the NEXT venue..to build that venue up. this is the friggin superbowl or daytona 500...
dont let personal problems crap this game up

south carolina, grab your gear and MAN UP(or WOMAN UP for our female players)

IC OUT!
veteran BoTC
PS y'all know i live in charlotte but fought for sc since that is where we started and we are staying. and the way it looks now sc is gonna need all the help it can get if y'all dont staightened out it will = epic fail for the airsoft community as a whole in SC.

I do have to agree.. this is about SC vs NC.. not AOSC vs NC or SCAA vs NC or anything like that. AOSC needs to show up to this but as SC players not just as AOSC members.

Remember this is not an SCAA game, but a BlackTower Productions game. So for those that weren't coming because 'its an SCAA game', your excuse is invalid. Sure we might not get along with some of the people from the SCAA, but we can't let a few people keep us from showing pride in our sport and for our state.

I do understand some people don't think this will be a fun game because of how big it will be, and I respect that and won't argue over an opinion. And this is my opinion, and please take it as that and leave the flaming out of this thread as much as possible.

Yeah guys. You need to show up. I don't even live in SC and I want to go. It is going to be a fun game. Its not SCAA, so don't not show up just because you don't like the SCAA. It will make SC look bad if none of us show up. I hope I can make it. I live in Savannah, GA though, so It is kind of far away. If I can come, I will

And that is something else we need an offical word on. Will the AOSC still hold the Redfox game even though some of us had been told that the two SC vs NC games had been merged?

The AOSC will not be holding a game at Red Fox on May 1st, but there's a good change that we'll holding one there in March or April.

I'll be going, but I agree with the argument that there will be way too much bottlenecking with that many people. I'll just spend a lot of time in the creek beds. :P

Brian you can drink beer later, bring your ass to the game :). I know plenty of people that have problems with certain members of the SCAA, hell some of you might not even like me. However if we let these things keep us from showing up, NC has already won. Think of it as an All Star game or something. Take the best players from every team here in SC and put them on the same side. I really look forward to working with people like Henry, Ben, Garrett and plenty of other players that I have only had a chance to shoot at before. I truly believe that we(SC) have the better players and I am really looking forward to May 1st and hopefully SC's players will show up in the 100's and kick some NC ass.

well the scaa got chumped.. all there is to it.. I understand state pride and all, but im from Atlanta Ga.. But if my team decides to go I will as well.. far as Saluda? field is weak.. how could anyone compare it to the layout of redfox I dunno.. all we do is run circles around a campground, across a street and down by the creek and shoot around lattace.. Garrett and I pulled RedFox for you guys, he set a date, then Robin matched that date identical? what are the odds? thats a dirty chump move.. I understand politics but man, thats dirty..

oh well what do I know.. yall have fun..

I really can not believe that you would call Robin a chump. I believe he was the 1st person to extend a hand towards your team at Deep Scar 1 or 2. Robin has been promoting this sport long before you ever thought of playing it. I have been part of the SCAA production team for a year now and know 1st hand what goes into putting the calender for each year together. It is the field owner that hands out the dates and then the selection is made after that. What did the SCAA do to you to make you feel this way?

I think it was an amazing chump move since nobody posted the date of either event.  I have looked everywhere for a posted date of the Red Fox game. The only one I have seen is were Robin has posted about three Red fox's before May even rolls around.
