HELP: Looking for airsoft shops
HELP: Looking for airsoft shops
I'm new to airsoft (thought it was 2 words). I am in the Pee Dee and searching for an airsoft specialty shop. Are there any stores in Columbia or Myrtle Beach areas?

To expand on what Dominum's harsh words, there are no physical stores in the immediate area. I believe there is a small airsoft store in Ashville, NC and there is the very large Airsoft Atlanta in....Atlanta.teedroh wrote: I'm new to airsoft (thought it was 2 words). 90% of what airsofters in this state get are online orders. Just ask us what you are looking for (primary weapon, sidearm, vests/clothing) and people will help you or point you to other threads where the information is discussed.
Commonly used online airsoft websites for shipping orders include:
www.airsoftatlanta.com (VERY FAST SHIPPING, very good bolt-action sniper parts)
www.airsoftgi.com (large selection and reliability, not to mention coupon codes and free shipping over $100 orders)
www.airsoftextreme.com (based in CA, has many things that are harder to find elseware, but usually more $$$)
www.airsplat.com (cheaper airsoft goods, but website not very user friendly and there are occasional reliability issues with broken guns being shipped or lost orders)
www.rsov.com (Hong Kong based - can have expensive and slow shipping, but very cheap items can be found here)
www.ebairsoft.com (also Hong Kong based)
www.evike.com (a slightly more expensive, but much more reliable website than airsplat)
Just so you know: Please do not ask "What is the best gun?" Every airsoft gun ever made has a distinct purpose and can be defined as the "best" in some way (even the walmart Crossman guns are the "best guns in availability"). It would be better to ask "What is the best electric AR-15 style airsoft gun under $200 that can be used in woodland settings?" (as in, longer range) OR "How do you guys feel about gas pistols vs. electric pistols?" OR "What should I look for in a Close Quarters Battle (CQB) rifle/SMG?"

I'd also mention WeaponBlender.com. I was able to find my Flecktarn there, and they can have a decent selection as-well. Shipping is also really cheap, only $4.50-ish on the orders I've gotten from them. They've got some nice foreign gear, if you're looking for something like british camo or a cheap chinese AK chestrig.

@Smitty: Not harsh, merely succinct
(for once)

Sorry, Dom. You really don't understand the concept of succinct very well, and that includes this case.Dominum wrote: @Smitty: Not harsh, merely succinct(for once)
