This Gear Has Got To Go!

Post by Arbee » Tue Oct 27, 2009 8:00 pm

Name:  Adam Bennett

Location:  Lexington and Columbia.

Attention:
Please keep in mind that this gear has seen its fair share of use, and will not be brand new.  I believe that the prices I am charging are very reasonable, given the standard market price for these items.  I will be selling all of these items separately, on a first-come basis.  If you are willing to meet me in Lexington or Columbia, I will be willing to hold items for you.

I prefer to meet and swap, rather than rely on the postal system.  I have had incredible difficulties with the postal system in the past, including one foul-up where a money order got lost in the mail.  I am not comfortable mailing things because of this.  However, I am willing to work with you, and if you're willing to pay shipping and handling, then I will be willing to ship it to you.

I am available in Columbia on weekdays, between the hours of 1200h-1300h or 1300h-1400h (my lunch break).  I am also available in Columbia on weekdays after 1700h (when I get off work).  I am available in Lexington on weekends, or after 1700h when I get off of work on weekdays.  However, since Lexington's out of my way, I will only be willing to meet you there if you're making a purchase of $20.00 or more.

I will also be available at any game I attend, God willing.

Payment Preference:Cash (I will accept a check, but God help you if it bounces).  I have a PayPal account if it comes to shipping--I will not ship until the payment has cleared, however.

BDU Sets (Pictures of pants and jackets below):
Jacket + Pants: $15.00

Other Accessories
These are sold separately, not together (unless you want them together, I suppose)!

Soft Covers:
All Soft Covers $5.00

1 7 1/4 Woodland
1 7 5/8 Woodland

Hard Cover: (SPF)

This PASGT-style helmet is made of ABS plastic, and is quite durable and effective.  However, it's also just a plastic shell on the styrofoam-and-padding innards of a bicycle helmet.  It's been through a lot, though, so I can't complain.  Protected my noggin a couple of times.  I'm asking $20.00 for it.

Butt Pack:

This is an ALICE-compatible woodland camo butt pack.  Comes with two ALICE clips.  Asking $10.00

Canteen Holder

This is an olive-drab canteen bag, with a sling for the shoulder.  At least, that's what I've been using it as.  I'm sure you could store many things in this manly little purse.  Asking $7.00

Parting Out, Offers, and Trades:

As there's really nothing to part out (none of this comes as a set), there's no need to ask if I'm going to part it out.  As for offers, it really depends on what you're offering.  Trades... again, it depends.  PM me if you wish to haggle.  Generally, though, I will not be going below my set prices.

Thanks, guys and gals!

I will have this stuff with me at Deep Scar IV... I would really appreciate it if somebody would be willing to take it off my hands!

Changing my first-come policy, too.  I will be willing to hold something as sold-pending-funds for one week.

Also, I will be willing to ship cloth items (vests, BDUs, hats, etc) via USPS at the buyer's expense.
