PDI VSR-10 piston and spring,JG Bar-10 mags, G36 drum-mag for sale
PDI VSR-10 piston and spring,JG Bar-10 mags, G36 drum-mag for sale
LOCATION(S): Charleston, SC.
PAYMENT PREFERENCE(S): Cash preferred, but willing to accept Paypal.
ITEM(S): PDI VSR-10 hard piston and 140 spring, 2 JG Bar-10 magazines, UK Arms MK36 drum magazine.
PRICE(S):
hard Piston: $30
140 Spring: $14
Bar-10 mags: $8 each.
UK Arms Drum mag: $20
DESCRIPTION(S):
The piston and the spring are both PDI, and I can provide links to the exact ones if asked. They've only had to go through a few shots, and are still in nice condition, just sitting inside the gun on my wall.
Not much to say about the Bar-10 mags though. They hold about 24 rounds each, last time I counted, and they feed just fine.
The UK Arms G36 magazine, though, is a bit.. broken. The spring that normally pushes the door to keep the BBs at the top has come loose. The mag still works, it's electric and has auto-wind or sound-wind, but having the broken spring is a real pain. Normally it costs closer to $60, but because of the problem I'll let it go for $20.

I unfortunately won't. I don't have a ride up there or a CQB gun to use. I will be able to go to a game next weekend though.

This should be fixable by tightening one or more of the set screws on the outer barrel assembly.Undead wrote:The foregrip and outerbarrel have to be held on with ducktape though. I can't quite figure out what broke, but the two come right off for some reason.

That's what I thought when it first broke, but there really are no screws or anything. I'm really thinking when they put this gun together they used glue..Dominum wrote: This should be fixable by tightening one or more of the set screws on the outer barrel assembly.

What kind of range does the SVD have, and how is the accuracy?

Yeah, I still have it. I'm back and forth on this gun, really. Someday it works wonderfully and I love it, then it decides to let me down and I want it gone.. :-\
As for the range and accuracy, it's pretty decent considering it's still stock and shooting around 390 FPS. The hop-up is tricky though, but a little toying around with it and it'll shoot nicely.
I should also note that the loose barrel has been fixed- no more tape holding it on, performance is always the same though. And I painted the stock and foregrip brown. It's already starting to wear our a bit, but it still looks good in my opinion.
