The rumors are true, Robin has decided to give up airsofting to follow other endeavors (such as real steel arms). As such, he has about 20 long rifles and 15 pistols that need to be sold. I stopped by his place today to see what kind of deals he was willing to cut, and I was amazed at what he was letting go.
Every gun Robin owns is one that he would not mind fielding himself. No chi clones here, but they are going for cheaper than chi-clone prices!
To give you an example, Robin has multiple Tokyo Marui G3 "shorty" guns (MC-51s) that he would likely let go between $75-100. While these guns were those he would loan to new players at games, anybody who has used a tokyo marui knows that they will run for 5-10 YEARS worth of games. Great upgrade platforms for newer players, yet they still run respectably with their stock parts. Won't find better guns for crossman prices.
His pistols range from never-used-in-box brand names to a upgraded pistol Robin won an airsoft pistol competition with. Prices will be based on what you offer, but don't be surprised if he lets you take a $200 pistol home for $100 (or even less if you buy package deals)!
Then, finally, we get to his field upgraded rifles. He does not deal with ultra-high FPS simply because he uses guns that don't need a high FPS to get amazing ranges. Every gun has a story, many guns have conversion kits which are difficult to find or are not sold anymore. Examples: A TM AK-47 with a SVD wood kit with real steel parts, a CA M249 tricked out by AEX for the box mag to feed from the gun's battery (as well as other upgrades), and at least half a dozen other $1000 guns that would probably be sold for half that cost.
