Custom modifications:
AFG2 is chopped to allow room for my hand behind it, and up against the magwell.
Slight sanding on the rear MBUS sight to allow the scope mount to sit all the way back for proper eye relief.
Gearbox reinforcement was in the way of the 10:1 bevel, required modification to remove the extra material to allow the gear to fit.
New, longer trigger contacts, not quite a hair trigger, but still better than the longer stock trigger pull.
The modifications required to install an ER-hop.

Gets 44rps on an 11.1v 2650mah 20c battery
Chronos at 392fps with .25s +/- 1fps

I'm open to trades, offer up, I'm looking for something cool/interesting/unique. It does't quite have a place in my arsenal, but I'm not exactly looking to get rid of this rifle. I still quite like it, but I'm curious what else is out there.

I'm specifically looking for a well upgraded M4, so let me know what you have.

Evike has gearbox shells for sale. I've picked one up. I still plan to sell the gun, but I'm going to downgrade it to more reasonable performance levels so as to avoid this issue.

You mean the one that won't fit in the gun? I'd have to custom build one and do internal dremel work if I wanted to use it.

I'm assuming is an STS (shock transfer system). They're great, if you're running a DMR m4/m16. It obviously wouldn't fit in a 417 though.

With enough ingenuity anything is possible!
