Aug 15th Sunday Shootout

Post by GREEN NINJA » Mon Aug 16, 2010 11:01 am

Thanks to everyone that came in spite of the weather. It rained in the morning all the way up to before the game started, and late in the afternoon it poured...some dedicated players kept the battles going in the rain for quit a bit which turned out to be a lot of fun. In between when the weather was good, we had some intense battles especially in the afternoon. Oh and of course, knife fighting was a blast. We got some video of a quite a few matches at lunch...and would of had many more if we didnt get poured on :). I will be posting a compilation video of the knife fights later this week.

Hope to see LOTS of people next month for Sunday Shootouts, NEW OPs, knife fighting cage, Target Practice and HOT food for lunch @ the field.

I love rain games. It is a whole different animal than usual. Even the ones that are miserable are some of my best airsoft memories.

Same here, I loved playing in the rain, but I think the Alpha guys in the village got a little tired of me during the last 45 minutes or so :P.

I had a great time, as usual.

i enjoyed the rain a lot, low visability, you cant hear anything, intense. Im thinking about making a rain/snow loadout just for days like that.

Haha Dom rushed my position and we killed each other in the last 45min. But it was hard to hear with the metal roof above my head when i poured. And the knife fighting was pretty fun, i got some nice kills :D

afternoon games may have been alot of fun for you guys on bravo but it was a slaughter fest for us on alpha. Walk up a hill get shot from three directions. Though i did manage to sneak way around all the way to the road and catch remy and the shield guy while they were walking back. That was fun. Got lost in the rain cus my glasses were foggy. walked all the way to airfield and realised ive gone too far and jogged back to the little paintball arena. was wondering if you guys were at the parking lot already didnt know if ide ever find my way out hehe.

Thanks to Green Ninja for this game.  had fun.  The best for me was the knife fighting.  Thanks to Dom I have a nice purple spot on my kneed, it's all good.

And yes the rain was Crazy fun.  I felt like a kid just standing in the rain cooling off.  Can't wait to see the pix.  Until next time Gent.
