August 21st 2010 - Hangar 18

Post by Vesper » Sat Aug 21, 2010 6:30 pm

Let me just say, it was heck of a day.
I got a ridiculous number of body counts, had a couple of good welts myself. The weather, in my opinion, was not bad at all. Of course, a bit to warm, but you all know it can get much worse.
I'd also like to apologize for those who might have gotten shot in the face by me, and I'm sure there are many people who were in the main hall at the beginning of the second game have.

My back welts are from Remy, and as far as John unloading on me, I honestly do not recall that.. AND we were on the same team....

Had a great time as usual. It was nice to put some names to faces as well.

I love using a DMR at CQB  :P

Well kids, I had a blast today. Unfortunately, me and Jester had to cut out right after lunch to meet up with a friend of ours.

It's been a while since I played so I was high gear-no drag today. So if I over-shot anybody, I appologize. Had a lot of steam to blow away  :D

Thanks to Garrett and the guys for putting on the game. As always, I'm a sucker for CQB games, so it was automatically fun for me. And coupled with the fact that the last time I played here my rifle was firing too hard for inside, so I had to run my sidearm all day. So I vowed that I would have my KWA low enough to run it inside  ;D

I had a great time running with Bravo today. Ghost and Dom, I appreciate all the medic heals, SO much better than walking to respawn

And it was good to meet up with a few new faces like Berbinator and Vesper (hope the mag helped you out).

Need to hurry up and set up another game!!!

Thanks again
castle

Overall I had a good time; this was the first time I ran a long gun in CQB. Up till now I'd always used the Glock, but that won't fly at the WV AirsoftCon game. :P

Plenty of good kills, and I have a few decent welts myself. See you guys out there next time!

This was the second time playing there.  It is alot more fun when you actually know the layout of the place and aren't just hunting around playing follow the leader.  As always thanks to all of the people that put the work in to set up this game.  I have a few welts of my own, but also gave a few too.  I cannot wait until the next game there.  Maybe then we can get some more of our teammates to come.
