Awesome game everyone. Sorry I wasn't able to make it back for Sunday, some things are just un-escapable. Rollin in the HMMWV was a ton of fun, and being the first in for alpha was a trip. BY time we made it around south base everyone in there had been shot multiple times. Once out we decided to walk to respawn, forgetting that we were back in play when we got out. After a quick word with Dom we were told to go back where we were dropped off and spawn there. LOL turned out to be bad for bravo. The five of us kicked a lot of tan but, even pretty much wiping out all the tan as they entered the HMMWV. Mad fun. Got to meet some new guys, see some old guys, and shoot a little of both. See you guys at OP24TWO

Definitely one of the best games I've been to this year. Camping out for the first time was fun, same with the night game and pistol matches. The second day was a bit slower, but still worth it. I was almost able to get a Knife-kill, but Stuckmojo had to be a hero and shoot the sniper. All-in-all a great day, can't wait for next year's anniversary game!

i had fun as always enjoyed hanging with old faces and meeting new ones.  i was disappointed that not many alpha players had radios we would have done so much better the first day if everyone had radios.  mad props to whoever got the hummvee for the game that was awesome.  had fun shooting ironfox in the airfield tower sunday morning....yall got your revenge on me on the island the next game.  its always fun playing with you guys.  had fun flanking the island with undead had an enemy sniper walk ten or 15 feet right in front of us and didnt see us.  i know you were going to knife kill him undead but when he turned around i had to shoot...lol  next time.  thanks to all who made this possible see yall at op242

Props to Dom and Ninja for running the show!  This was my last game before I leave the country for 3 months and it was a great parting game.  I can't remember the last time I had this much fun playing!  Hauling that box was rediculous and getting support from other bravos in the beginning was even harder!  Glad they showed up and hauled it in for those of us who busted our butts to get it away from Alpha!  After that, I spent the second half of the day in South Base defending the objectives.  We had a few sticky situations where we didn't think it was going to turn out with Bravo still with the upperhand! I had a blast rolling with people that I normally shoot at like Smitty and Remy!
Yes I have taken my shoes off during games.  Yes I have 2 of the same guns. No I am not a little boy...I am in fact female, so don't say "kill the little kid".  No Tanker and I aren't married...yet. Does that dispel all the myths about me? LOL

Great to see so many airsoft players turn out for this one!  Thank you to everyone who bought items from me, those funds are going toward some of the final expenses in getting some quality AEGs together will all the extras I will need to rent guns out.

I should say that I was glad I wore my lower face mask while on the humvee, as I got lit up on that turret both times I was up there (somebody on aircross gave me a good shot right on my left temple).  On the other hand, laying down non-stop suppressive fire from said turret as friendlies got out of the humvee just about brought a tear to my eye before the first game was over (man, I love my RPK!).  Those 8-10 guys who had to lay down in the airfield under my barrage, you know who you are.  :P

As many have pointed out, it was an honorable day of airsoft.  The fact that significant forces from both sides could be quickly transported behind the main lines completely changed the balance of power compared to past TT games, where lines were quickly drawn and a type of trench warfare reigned after an initial push.  It kept things interesting and gave whichever side that needed to assault a static location a significant advantage over a team which needed to only defend that spot.  I hope to see many such ideas implemented in the future.

I hope to see you all (and many more!) at OP24II.
We all started doing what we love somewhere...

Man had an awesome 2 days, got plenty of kills throughout both days.  The charge that started out by the tower with about 12 people and ended right by south base with only Foxx, Hoss, and me was fun as hell.

I missed most of the knife fights on the first day while I was opening my g36, but I got it working for the rest of the game.

Night fight was sick... until I got shot in the nose .  Also next time you throw a grenade in a room Dom, I will jump on it instead of flying out the room to an epic death.  Got to say those lights on bravo helped me get a few kills.

On the second day had fun being hunted by 12 people while we defended airfield.  Good shot to the sniper who got me square in the back.

The pistol fights at the end were also quite awesome.  Wes, Foxx, and I did quite well with those skirmishes.  Also I gotta say Remy you are one funny ass hell guy, I'm still laughing at your duct work stories.  Wendy's was so good afterwords....
Wesley: "I think I just heard Luke yelling."
Me: "...That was a goat."

I am happy to hear everyone enjoyed themselves, and I look forward to another year of AOSC success culminating in a (hopefully even better) anniversary game. Thanks to all of you that made it out and played honorably. Thanks to Green Ninja for helping put together the game and for the knife fights. Thanks to all the Reps that helped with chrono and registration and doing what they do. Out of more than 75 players, we only had a few issues from a small group of individuals that need to brush up on their MED and safety kill rules, and get an attitude adjustment. You can rest assured that the incidents were dealt with and the Reps have been made aware of the issues they caused and are going to make sure it doesn't continue. We don't intend to let the quality of game play be affected by a few bad apples, and will continue to diligently weed them out. I am glad the HMMWV was a success, and I am working on getting it out to OP24II. Congratulations to the raffle winners, and thank you to Green Ninja who donated a Cold Steel training dagger for the raffle. I enjoyed playing when I got to, the GRAVE Tornadoes racked up some epic kill streaks, and I got some kills with my new G26c, so all in all a wonderful weekend.

What I say but I had a great time with all of you guys.  Meet new peeps and got to see some old faces as well.  I did more defence than getting into the action but the action kept coming to us so that went well.  The Foxx team was a team for sure they stayed together and ran hard, I like that in a team.  you guys made the game for me.  Also the knife fights where "off the chain"  3rd me and you could team up and do some hurting on some folks. lmao...
Aircross and grave as always was great to play with you guys.  Can't wait till the next one.
Oh the team with the snipers wow you guys are ruthless.  you keep coming and going didn't know where to look.  hope to see more of you guys out again.

That is all for now, Carry on Gents and ladies.  8)

Congratulations, you win the "Most Ignorant Post Ever" award.

Being shot out of bounds is always considered to not be counted as a hit since the player essentially does not exist on the battlefield.

As for not accepting a safety kill, that's true you don't have to accept it. At the same time, you DO have to call a safety back on him within the Minimum Engagement Distance.

Perhaps sir, it is you who should review the "rule book" before you go and rail against one of it's writers. Especially considering it is YOU who have come into OUR forum and attended OUR game in order to play this great sport of airsoft.

With all respect sir, I say buzz off.

Had a great time playing airsoft that Saturday.  I  want to give a shoutout to all the guys who helped me out that morning and during lunch.  Also I had fun playing with you guys over at Ironfox.  If you guys need some help with Vietnam equipment and gear, let me know, I might be able to help.  Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend Op24 2 because I have a WW2 reenactment that weekend.  :(

Actually I was going to ask you about where you got your M16 pouches from. We can't seem to find the Nam' issue ones anywhere. :'(

Really? They seem to be easy to find in local army navy stores.
