Re: OP24II AAR
as far as the boundrys being wear they were i dont know why that was you would have to ask garrett about that. i will admitt that it was very easy to defend alpha hq and difficult for bravo to come in. i do know that the reason alpha had that location had something to do with the story line but as far as the boundrys like i said garrett is the one who would have to explain that
on another note i just wanted to thank felix's dad for cooking the hamburgers for me and also zobbie from team redemtion. sorry i didnt get to cook myself things didnt work out the way i originally wanted. but i hope that everybody got a cheesburger and plenty of food.

Hahaha that would be myself and Sky, good coffee too.Vemios wrote: That alpha and a few around them basically said F'ck that! and joined us for coffee. Those few alphas even radioed how uneven the teams were, and asked if they could go Bravo for a bit to help us out. Hat's off to you all. That was a darn fine show of sportsmanship that AOSC should be proud of!

I only make the best coffee, well if you like motor oil

Re: OP24II AAR
This was my first major game, and I had a blast. I had to leave at 1930, but wished to God that I could have stayed. I met some great guys. Smitty, great job as CO. Blackghost, holy frickin clip on that gun, man! Excellent playing though. My only regret is that I wished there could have been more people playing, and again, that I had to leave.
Many thanks to the organizers and everyone that put lunch together.
I look forward to running with you guys again soon.

no that was me that walked up on the base and the one with the light that walked up on you at night.Stealth Legend wrote: So, god's eagle was the one who walked up on all of us in O4 in the late afternoon? I was the last down cause I was in the corner, so we wound up pointing guns at each other (i had a crossman shotgun). Then someone else walked up and safetied me.
Also, just a reminder, I'm missing the stock from my sniper rifle. it's busted and looks like it came off an m4.

They had multiple respawns, just sayingArbee wrote: I know I don't have any right to speak out about this, as I wasn't there, but if what I heard about Alpha camping at Bravo's HQ for the last couple hours of the game is true, that might be something you want to remedy in the future. Games shouldn't be about winning at all costs, they should be about playing and having fun. And since people are paying to play, they should be able to get their money's worth out of the game.
Just saying.

Had a great time, and yes Smitty, I personally lead a search party through briar thickets for an hour looking for you! LOL.
Had a great time, props to the players on Alpha, you treated it like a MilSim with your command structure abiding teams, willingness to follow orders including a four hour scheduled sleeping arrangement, and generally good communications. A big kudos to Bravo players for your tenacity in the early part of the day, and for those of you that stuck it out and put up a fight, great job! I saw honorable play all around. Smitty and Mojo, great job stepping up to the plate.
I thought players on all sides did their commanders proud at OP24II, I had fun playing with all of you!

I remember trekking through all those briars. I know they say that you should take the path less traveled, but dang dom...

How did you think epic flanks and sneak attacks worked?
Only one time has this failed me, and it was a pretty bad failure, ask GEARS LOL.

Looks like I might actually be one of the only guys on Alpha who enjoyed the briars. They can hurt, but that walk really felt like we were doing something. Can't beat the feeling of being off trail, off the grid if you will, sneaking up on the enemy. I'm still picking those briars out of my gear though.

Re: OP24II AAR
yes ladies and gents...Dom's failure led myself, my squad(carrying a massive metal ammo box), and a few stragglers on a 3 hour nature walk..and we went in a dang circle. That was a day. It happened to be in the dead of summer...oh man. Fun fun fun..It's great when all your guys are dehydrating, and you find out you've gone in a complete friggin' circle. lol

You're welcome! (It was worth it, right? Caught them totally off guard, too bad we didn't overrun them though.)UF_Jester wrote: Looks like I might actually be one of the only guys on Alpha who enjoyed the briars.
