SQA game 12-29

Post by dftrent12 » Thu Dec 29, 2011 7:25 pm

This was my first time at the field and I was incredibly impressed with the field owner and his field. He was incredibly kind for letting us play on his land at no price and he even included lunch. The game itself was really laid back. The only issue I had was there were a good many of people who would not call their hits. I was not the only one who had this problem but it wasn't a big deal, though it did get annoying. So all in all it is a pretty cool field that had a lot of diversity in the landscape and a pretty fun game.

If it has been said by Henry, then it's probably right.

This was a GREAT GAME , put on by a GREAT field Owner, How many fields , have guns to rent, mask or eyepro , allow EVERYBODY present to use Free!! BB's and batteries and!! Provide you a free Pizza LUNCH ! ???????? NOBODY ! thats who ! this made for a great enviroment and allowed a lot of newbies that hand never played an REAL orginized Airsoft game before in a real Airsoft field ?? Hence the people not calling there shots ! but after getting shot point blank range from an Over 300 FPS gun a couple of times and a little mentoring think they did good on calling shots ! Hopefully this will be a new start for the future AOSC people !!.

On a side note it was great to see all of Steevo's youngest brother play and get shot ,but the best was the "dramatic " Im shot" !! this was due to his first real hit ! if you were there and saw it , you know what im talking about!! !

And I feel good I got a good kill shot on Gambler after thirty minutes of Nobody being able to hit him and I walk right up and shoot him in the foot !! ROTFLAO !! THAT MY FRIENDS IS HOW YOU PLAY REAL AIRSOFT AOSC STYLE !! CALL YOUR SHOTS EVEN IF THEY ARE LITTLE !!!

Gambler, you have my utermost respect and honor! It was a privilige to play agianst you !!
LUCK IS FOR LOSERS !!! YOU CAN'T LIVE FOREVER !!!! The CEREBRAL ASSASSIN

all of his posts except his first have been irrelevant to the sections they were posted in. I am glad to see he's discovered posting outside of the Introduce Yourself section though

fine print: sometimes I'm serious and post middle of the ground statements based on logic, other times I will post something absurd just to point out the sheer lunacy of someone's opinion. Other times I may post something directed specifically at another forum member just to be a smartass. Don't take it personally, it's all in good fun.

Yeah.... you kinda missed it, this was yesterday...

Anyway, there were a few problems with people not calling their hits, and they were all new guys like Cleric said. We'll work with them like we do every other newbie, if they keep coming back, they will eventually be good, honest players.

Even though I didn't play for most of the day, I still had fun. I always enjoy watching games, and seeing how people play. It's always interesting to see people work together, or going off alone, seeing what strategies work, and some that I hadn't thought of before.

Anyway, I got a new found respect for Aircross during those two 3 team 1 flag capture the flag ordeals. Some of the fastest games we've had in a long time. Defending the hill was kinda fun, disappointing that I got out as early as I did, but I kind expected a little the defense to be a little different than it was.

Anyway, I guess I don't have much more to say than that. The total count was 51, the most playing was 46. We played from 10-12:30, and from 1:30 to about 3. It was a fantastic day, felt great all day, and we didn't have any injuries.

I would like to thank the Escue's for putting on this game. They were gracious hosts and have a nice field. The field was way bigger than I was expecting.

I hope no one thought I was staring at Undead a lot, but that brown, Russian, special forces camo was just super awesome looking.
