Just as an FYI I was the awsome guy in Ausscams that once again nobody could figure out whose side I was on, so I got shot by both sides which was a pain. Thankfully though i did plenty of shooting my self and got involved in plenty of great fire fights :D

What a great day for the Bluehole. Just a few quick comments.

Thanks to John the Pilot for loaning a lipo to my son on the field. My son's first AOSC game (he had an absolute blast) and John didn't know him from Adam. Loaned him the lipo about mid day when his battery failed.

I was curious to see how Zack did on the field by himself since I'd be admin'n. I gave him a radio set to a side channel. I told him if he needed anything to hit me there. I never heard anything from him the first part of the day so I'd check in. He'd reply and say everything was fine. Around noon I met him in the parking lot for lunch. I asked what he'd been doing. He went on and on about this squad he was in. He says that he's running under LJ and that he was a good squad leader "but not everybody listens to him." LOL welcome to airsoft I was thinking. But thanks for showing him the ropes. It was good running with you the Bluehole game back last summer. Definitely a team player.

I had a great time today, and i couldn't have asked for a smoother game to be CO.

Our first skirmish of the day really gave us the upper hand. Once we took the middle base overlooking the sandy area it was relatively easy to tell what was going on and coordinate from there. Kudos to all the alpha players who kept giving us trouble by rolling up behind us all day.

I'd also like to thank Ranger, LJ, Dom, Brandon, and Hotspur. These guys especially kept in great contact with me and made sure people on the edges of the filed stayed informed. Information is king.

Ajax put on a great game, the only criticism I have is the lack of a defined lunch break. It just ended up that Bravo took staggered lunch breaks whereas alpha seemed to have the majority of their forces out at once. I know not everyone can pack it in and play on the field all day, even i walked at off at a point to sit for a moment and grab some more water. Other than that everything was superb. Especially happy with the stream of continuing objectives. Diesel and Felix never let our jobs be done, they definitely made us earn the victory.

As for the points being 1000-300, thats a bit of an exaggeration (considering points were only in incriments of ten, and only a few 50 pt objectives were capped during the day).

As for all the cursing and hit calling? Bah. Its been said a thousand times, if you can't play nice and you can't play right are you really having fun?

Thanks again to Ajax putting this on, and thanks to both teams for a great game. It was a good day, and I am exhausted.

Great game, didn't expect over 100 people. Met stuckmojo, Golden_Eagle, Vesper, Diesel, steevoLS, Palmetto Guard Airsoft, met back with LJ and Team Eagle after some time, really cool guys, and finally met Felix. Overall, good day, had fun, and possibly made some new friends who happen to live close by in Aiken. Diesel, the game was fun, just next time a lunch break would be nice. AJAX, you guys did a great job. And I was running around with a Katana! (Didn't work though)

The final score came out to be: Alpha 180 to Bravo 440.

At the first hour check in, Alpha was ahead by 10 points because they still controlled the hostages. After that, Bravo had taken the hostages and every base.By the last check in, Bravo had taken most of the main objectives (nukes, hostages, and 2/3d of the box-bombs), and Alpha had destroyed one of Bravos HQs, and taken back 3 of the 4 capturable respawns.

Id like to say thank you to all of the SC players that came, as well as the TN, GA, and NC players that showed up. This was again, my first game hosting, and from the sound of it, everyone enjoyed it. I had fun running (literally) the field and watching all of the firefights and small engagements. Bravo's nuclear charge on Alpha base was hilarious to watch, kudos for that.

I do want to say that the lunch break was my idea, and it played how I thought it would. The idea of no lunch break was so that the CO would either designate breaks, or set teams would come and ask to go eat. This would mean that at least 1/3 of the team would be eating, and there could be some intense fighting still going on. When I checked the parking lot at 12:30ish, there were a lot of Alpha and very few Bravo.

With the No-Hit calling situations, when I was told of these that "theres someone over there not calling hits" I personally would run over to that location and watch over. I do have to say that this is a big field with a lot of wind, and it is very very easy for a .25 to be blown off course, or have no force behind it when it gets to the enemy.

And again, thank you everyone for making this such an enjoyable game.

I thought it was a great game. It was my first AOSC game that I had been to and I didn't expect that it would be that large. The field was perfect for flanking maneuvers, and getting sucked into quicksand. Unfortunately, few of us had any clue where Bravo's HQ was which made it hard to get the nuke there.

The lunch break really wasn't too much of an issue to overcome since I just brought my bag onto the field with me.

Kudos to those who found me (I was on Alpha) with the nuke in the backwoods of the field after you took out the majority of my squad in a firefight, I thought I had escaped from your search despite being pushed up against the very boundaries of play. That was really some great organization on Bravo's part.

Also, whomever was dressed as the ninja with the sniper rifle and bokken on Alpha deserves an awesomeness award.

Well after some well needed sleep, here is my AAR
Pros;
1--Felix wrote a good game. Good flow, objectives, and overall good idea for the field
2--Lots of people. Thanks to the NC, and GA teams that made the trip, plus all the SC players
3--Different terrain from normal, room to flank way around.

Cons;
1--Hit calling--already said my concerns about this
2--Lunch break. I think we all learned that a lunch break is well needed for games. This will not be an issue at any other games
3--Cussing-- once again, already said my concerns on this.

For the most part, seems like everybody had a good time. This is because of the players. The players dictate how the game turns out. We as admin can do all we can, but ultimately it is up the the individual players. I know that Ajax learned a few things to make games flow better. I would still like to hear what was good and what was bad. This is how we learn what the players want in a game.
To the CO's, Drew and Daniel, thank you. Both of you did a good job. It is not easy being the CO, and this was the first time for both. Thank you both.
Daniel, hope you get to feeling better.

As far as the game, I hope people realized how much radios are really needed. Bravo had good comms and Alpha had hardly any. This made a big difference.

Once again, thanks to all the people that came out. We appreciate the support and look forward to putting on our next game.

EDIT--I also want to thank everyone for helping to get this game started. Official start time was 10:08. I believe that is the closest that a game has started to on time. This again was because of the players. Next game we will try to do better. THANK YOU

On a special note, a big THANK YOU to Bald Eagle. He came and did chrono, and ran it very well.

Directly across from alfa hq on that steep ridge was a band of what looked like the sniper team (I didnt have a radio couldnt call it in) so I shot at them from the hill in the middle of the field and I slowly got closer and closer trying to distract them for the team (co included) going to destroy thier base and I wanted to know how good a job I did? Also they werent calling thier hits there was an admin up on the hill that offerd to pay 20$ if any of them hit me.

I remember making that joke, but I cant remember the full situation. If its the situation I think it was, not a single BB came onto that ridge, but you did quite a lot of dodging.

I was that guy on the ridge near Alpha's base with a scope and radio. Kudos to the Bravo's who waved back at me, that made me laugh. On a side note, I met up with Alpha's lone sniper and we went WAY behind Bravo, capping flags, and at one point, we were no more than 40 yards from Team Eagle and the enemy CO. Some very tense moments there. Several times near the back of the map when Bravo was driving the red jeep around, me and the sniper were no more than 10 feet in the woods. I thought for sure that someone would see us. Thanks to all the players who came out.

I had a great game as well it was an amazing day for this game. Luckily the rain didnt come till everyone had left anyway. As far as the game goes I believe it went amazing. I played for bravo so i know the butt hurt we brought onto alpha wasnt pretty but they sure put up a huge fight for every last point or objective they could. Lots of interesting things happend this game like Dom almost throwing himself off a cliff xD as well as finding the dummy dummy which was hilarious XD For this being AJAX's first game i would have to say its one of the better ones ive been to. Gratz guys on a job well done and to Felix for his superb scenario writing skills
