The only base blow I know of was the one I personally saw on our HQ at about 3 in the afternoon. I've not heard of any others on either side.

let me say something about the numbers for sc:
there were a total of 138 players for sc 35 were ga players that helped out so that means that 103 players from the state made the trip. all i can say is "stephen i hope your hungry"

Personally I'm glad I didn't waste my time or money on this game. The game in Fayetteville that AJAX attended at "The Reservation" was a blast, and for the entire day I only saw or heard of one instance of someone not calling a hit, and that was through heavy underbrush. One player even shook my hand and congratulated me for wiping out his whole group of ~15 players after I accidentally shot him in the face at point blank range with a 400+ FPS rifle. The sportsmanship was extraordinary to say the least.

I'm glad that SC made such a good showing, but every single person I've talked to on the phone today has been disgusted with their weekend. It's a shame that a crappy admin staff and a ton of scumbag players ruined the game for everybody else.

To recap on this weekend and the event that took place i would like to say i had a great time even with some of the aggravations that came along with it. I went home with my head raised high and feeling good after words and had plenty of stories to share. And that makes the trip all worth it.

Driving the tanks for most of the day i was very frustrated by one major thing that happened multiple times.
SITTING IN FRONT OF OUR TANKS
I am huge on safety and was very disappointed on the matter on how the admins handled guy's running and plopping their bodies right in front of the tank, pointing their SNIPERS, and other guns in the cerevisiae of the vehicles and opening fire. With an admin present watching the incident and doing nothing about it. These event are huge safety hazards and the last thing i want to is seriously hurt some one els.
This goes for both sides if you see a tank moving in your direct please make room for it and not stand right next to it unless it is fully stopped and has been secured. Their is a 15 foot distance for a reason. It is for your safety.

Now their are a ton of other event that happened with the tank that where very un-called for but i will not rant on those bc they where not life threatening like the ones above.

Now for SC players as a whole we really need to work on identifying our friendlies from enemies. Their where countless times when SC lit up their own guys. One time was right at the beginning we had a squad from first platoon already pushing back GA from alaska and the whole squad was killed by their own players not GA.

I have to say i did enjoy my wonder full argument with the unknown GA- "You cant shoot threw me bro".
with that said,
When you attend events folks and their is a safety briefing and things are explained please pay attention. If you do not understand something ask your superiors. This will prevent from events like this from happening.
Rules are always different for games so pay-attention.

The night game was by far the highlight of the night, our team not only secured Alaska but we managed to infiltrate GA and scatter shier troops but also take out 50 of them with simple safety kills and a bombardment of fire from the tree line (we told those guy to pull out their glow sticks as respect the safety kill) they replied with scream's and staggering to grab their glow sticks.

Also another unkown GA guy's thanks for the laughs.
"GA or SC?"
My reply"...."
"O thanks goodness i found some more GA guys"
My reply"Sorry man SC....... safety kill"
"What?!?!"
My reply"We are SC safety kill"

And for the other GA guys that came up to our team an began to follow our orders. :D
Boy did Poopdaddy have some crazy orders he was giving out.....;)

Zoobie"Hey guys so what is the objective?"
Ga- "we need to kill some SC"
Zoobie- "oh in that case saftey kill"
Me,Zoobie"saftey kill. rinse wash repeat...................."
GA" Wow wait what is going on ??!!!"
Me,Zoobie- "We are SC and we are safety killing all of you"
Ga" Wait how did you do that?"
and for those who didn't respect their saftey kills seconds later they wished they did. "Let it Rain" "Let it Rain"

I want to give props out those GA teams that where phenomenal and had great sportsmanship. They did not only call their hits but they congratulated the guys who shot them. I would love to play with them again. Also those GA players who played with us you guys rocked thanks. And all my fellow SC you did a great job you should all be proud of how you handled your self's.

Pros:
1. Love the field at night provided plenty of room for getting behind the enemie
2. Field had some very good aspects that made it challenging
3. Great stories
4. Enjoyed all those we played with
Cons:
1. Neglect for saftey
2. Neglect on admins for taking care of saftey issues that happened right i front of their eyes (both GA and SC are at fault)
3. Team mates being shot with the anti-tank weapons before and after being warned
4. Minors being sprayed down with in 5 feet buy guns crono at 50 plus feet MED
5. Shooting at a civilian truck and shinning spot lights in the drivers face with people with no eye pro piled in leaving the field after the game ended and the Refs watching it "laughing and yelling well that happens on an airsoft field" after our guys started yelling out in pain. (And no it was not an accident when their where multiple shots hitting perfectly at the guy's heads and bodies. and a spot light flashing directly on the truck only following it.I personally was shocked at first and tried to say it was an accident because i only herd a few shots hit the truck , but then realized it wasn't when i seen my guys had also been lit up like crazy.)
6. GA players running on the field during the day with no eye pro on??? and the admins where notified and they replied"Well that happens at every airsoft game" ( i am sorry this has never happened at any game our Team has hosted or any i have attended for SC)

Conclusion: Had a blast and lots of laughs. Left very disappointed in the lack of concern over saftey.

Big thanks to the SC Side for letting ODA 105 and Fort Benning (Vipers) run with you. We accomplished our goal of fragging Poopdaddy in the late afternoon. Big sorry for the SC Sniper that was sneaking and we ruined a shot for you.

For alot of our younger (as far as airsoft) guys, this op gave them a chance to see a large event. They appreciate the ruleset and scenario design more here at Benning.

I will definitely let you guys know about OPN RIPTIDE here at Benning as soon as we are good to go.

Please send me some action shots from this game to thirdcoastairsoft@@gmail.com, so I can get them into the magazine for the spring issue.

GREEN NINJA wrote:I hope this game helps sc guys to apprieciate our events because in ga its completely different.

Even the few Georgia guys on our side will tell you the truth about the differences which i discussed with quite a few georgia and sc guys that have attended events in both states.
1. Honor
2. Scheduling and rules
3. Organization of both the event and game dynamics
4. Game design and mechanics
5. General understanding how to host events for EVERYONE to have a fun time, not bend rules for certain guys, or have the game setup so the headquarters and respawns are unfair. What a surprise ga had a castle on a hilltop and we have crap pit in a valley surrounded by high positions. The sc camp area was on the back of the field for sc, unlike the ga guys who had camp at the front top which is waaay more convient. Luckily we were close the broad river which was mOre fun to hangOut at than playing.

Overall i have played many places for quite some time, this was the most dishonorable group i have EVER seen. There were some good ga guys on our side and they can tell u the same. It was a fun weekend chatting n such but the dishonor, game design, and poor event Planning made me leave early to avoid wasting my entire weekend.

Extra:
Everyone has battle stories from events so heres one that explains my frustration.
Ga attacked our base and was leaving out about 6 strong. I was floating about the field killing strays on the rOad when i saw the attack. I ran to a solid position and picked my target order. As they left the squad split in two. I shot the first guys dead center chest rig, no death. Two other ran past my position as i cocked my bolt back to shot target two, he ran approx 120 ft in front of my position where i let loose another .40 gram bb to the side of his head. It hit him he rolled about 7 or 8 feet, got back up and continued to run. I then proceeded to safety my gun and pack my crap because at that point it was enough. I was satisfiying to watch him eat dirt but soo frustrating to not be acknowleged for an awesome shot, not even a death! Stuck n zoobie did good commanding and hats off to them for enduring the bs.

Now i cant wait for our next game on the 24th so i can shoot people that actually die from bullets.
you guys asked for the lower base
the last two ops i used and loved the lower base
just to much crying from the sc command
as for the sc players you guys are top notch just pic stronger leaders next time.
i have never in my life had someone say"are players have left the field.please stop the game its un-fair.
very, very disappointed in the sc command.

bobby get your facts straight before you come on our site and trash talk. i didnt ask for the game to be stopped. tak made that decision when i gave him an accurate count of players on the field. i did ask for the night game to be stopped due to the blatant disregaurd for the rules and safety

I am not positive, but I'm pretty sure I came the closest of any SC player to do a base blow on GA. I was literally 5-10 ft away when the game was called. Oh well. THAT IS ONE BIG HILL TO LOW CRAWL!!!!!!
I'm not positive, but I believe one SC guy actually did base blow Ga on Saturday morning. Can't remember who...
nope
never made it to me
i had two get close but no base blow

i heard so much SC is not calling there hits(this is a problem in airsoft.you see your round heading to your target,so its a hit.i have had guys with stock guns go up against my sniper, and some players think "if he hit me i hit him".when my guys said "they wont call there hits"i told them to call out and walk over call the guy out and both respawn.)as for meds at the sunday morning game i asked, how far am i to that truck?i was about 50 feet from it.almost all players said 75 feet.judging distance takes training.not all people have it.i also had a guy come up with a bloody nose.he said "sc shot me close"no crying just left it at that.one came up with blood on his face same thing.
safety is very important.
but our choice of a hobby is a dangerous one.we shoot each other with guns firing hard(not soft) bbs.
i think its time for alot of people to switch to laser tag.i am not trying to be ugly.but i have never heard so many excuses in my life.you guys had put up the best fight i have had at any of the ops i have CO'ed.
then the next thing i hear is cheat this no hit call that close med the other. it was also said that the game was set up for ga to win.big BS on that.at the start of the game sc had tanks,i had no A/T.forward respawn was marked by our state flag,i had no flag.i think what happened was what i saw at the first SC/GA game.to much planning to set up squads and platoons.this is a game not a military op.players do not follow orders.if you plan a perfect game you will lose.lose with honer not with excuses.i have won three in a row(soco makes four)let me share with you my recipe for a good op
1 go to have fun no matter what
2 look forward to camping
3 bring food and water
4 bring fire wood
5 find a few good teams, put them on your channel
6 turn all the other players loose, let them play airsoft
7 brief your teams and send them out
i heard about the extent of the sc planning after the game.i think you planned the op down to the last move.when it did not work out command fell apart.then all the little things we don't hear about at small airsoft games ( but happen all the time) became the excuse.learn from this game
i am sad that we had a bad game on saterday(but from players on both sides.they had fun it was command that had the issues)
sunday we had a airsoft game
it was great
i was at sc hq with a bunch of my guys and got lit up,good times
i also was witness to some no hit calling.let me share with you what i saw.
ghost and i are talking and cutting up(i was dead)
a few of my team still lived in the woods.a sc player saw one of my guys running and opened up on him full auto.the guy was running,sc was shooting at him in the brush.i was watching close.not one bb hit him,yet the sc player looked at me like"that guy is cheating".you will find that most of the no hit calling was like this.
it is a bb.it will not go thru a tree or brush.
i hope the players had fun and don't judge this as what airsoft is in GA.i saw a great game from players and a poor game from command.sorry to put it like this but.
thanks for a great time sunday
a good time saterday
and a poor night game
later
POOP

i keep hearing crap
ga cheated ga did not call hits ga had better stuff
ga this and ga that
tak made that call because went off about your numbers.you radioed me and said stop stop stop .that is on you and your team.i expected more from you guys
as soon as things changed in our favor all we heard was cheating cheating cheating.
not from sc players but from sc command
admin was fair, play was fair, and sc players played great.all this crap you guys are spreading is a cop out.
no trash talk just fact.
ga did not win this game.sc command lost it.

FirsT of all if u want to come here and say anything at all about the game, especially about my comment well if u read carefully you would realize THE HQ was NOT the MAIN ISSUE but just a small part of an equation that made the game well...a joke.

If u want to comment then lets get real honest then.
How about a comment about the honor of GA,
How about the complete disregard for safety, not just players but admins
How about the rule changes and confusion upto the last minute,
Or maybe a comment on the stolen items from our camp,
And many more if you want to start with that.

Not to meantion your statement about ANYONE complaining especially the command. Considering the garbage that continually occured they stayed and TRIED to make it fun even though the entire event was basically one cheating moment after another yet they are ragged for complaining?

Thats the difference here in Sc airsoft, our goals here are based on honor and having fun, not making winning or making money. Hence the fact that we dont have stolen stuff issues, disregard for saefty "because its' just airsoft" or any other MAJOR issues that ruin airsoft.
We continue to grow and have fun as a league its ashame that the negativity in GA will surely prevent there unification and growth. Thats why there are multiple groups in GA airsoft and not ONE unified group.

As I said in my comment above every ga admin or commander that has come on here has made some comment about winning or losing or some refrence to it.
Worry about winning once the nessasary things are in place like rules, safety, honor, game design, player hosting AND relations, and generally everything else that seems to be ignored and replaced by pointless remarks and feelings about winning or losing.

Its like discussing the scratch on the hood oF your car even though there is a blown engine.

And last thing, often times in SC we have Events where everyone comes out all day n night to play and rarely is anyone ever really worried about who won or any other crap. Everyone comes to hang with friends and have some HONORABLE, SAFE, FUN. It seems the idea for GA command and admins is to win first and certainly sacrafice honor and safety to be sure to win......

guys i have said my piece
the things you think you know and what i saw and heard are two different things.
have fun in sc
we had fun on sunday and it made up for saterday
why?
because the problems went home and the players stayed.
i tried to make this game fair
sc lost there spy
i did not use mine
sc had tanks
i said use them, its not you fault i don't have them
it started with our players are young
went to cheating
went to no players on the field
and ended with its a safety issue
if we had truly had safety issues they should have been first
